If I were you and wanted the player id offer 30 million over 3 years with clauses and what not, the chairman is sure to go over the head of the manager, (who let's face it really should not have much say) and accept the offer as too good to refuse.

This is laughable transfer bug mate, nothing more...

Iniesta is transfer listed be request, which means that he will probably go to Seville if Barcelona accepts.

The player is valued 20,000,000 and the offer is 15,000,000 + clauses (which may reach 20,000,000).

Barcelona asks 100,000,000 but they have stupidly set the minimum release clause in 40,000,000. This means that if a team pays the clause there, asking price has no value and the player will leave regardless. Since 40,000,000 is a realistic transfer amount by FM standards, I would say that it is only a matter of time before Iniesta leaves.

So, this is laughable bug, unless of course I am mistaken. In that case, I am sorry people. Cheers.

Could well be a bug. In my FM07 save I've just sold my 'keeper to Chelsea for £10m when he had a £7.5m minimum release fee.

you're not mistaken. I don't know, don't believe that he has such a small minimum release fee when game starts, will check out. if he signed new contract with such release fee, then it's abug. anybody else noticed how Barca sucks in the game?
