Hey, I've been playing CM/FM since 98/99 and was just wondering if you guys could help me?
I have signed Cesar Delgado for Man Utd from Cruz Azul and it says that he didn't gain a work permit so cannot play for my first team but can be loaned out! So my question is, will he obtain a work permit if he is loaned out so he is able to play for my first team? Or what do I have to do to get him a work permit? I was always under the pretence that work permits were to do with International appearances and the player had to play in like 75% of them or something?
Sorry if I'm being abit slow here but I'm abit confuzzled!
you got a feeder club in belgium, polen or spain? loan him to that club for 2-3 seasons then he will get an passport from that country and eglible for your team.
You are correct you can only loan him during Transfer Windows. Although once loaning him he may obtain the required numbers of days to be eligible for Citizenship, he may not take it and you would still require a Work Permit for him to play in the UK. Citizenship is a way to get round the need for a WP as he would have an EU passport and therefore as an EU citizen not need a WP. Your only real hope is that he starts to play a lot more for his country and if he plays in more than 75% of his Countries games over 2 years he should obtain a permit.
