OK. So Van Der Sar retires at the end of season 1, so I draft in 2 great young keepers in Ochoa and Ustari. No problems.

But when I ask for a team report from my Ass. man, he is worried about the lack of cover for Ben Foster, as he thinks Ron Robert Zieler (my reserve reserve-keepr!) doesn't have the quality.

2 months down the line and he is still adamant in his reports that both Ustari and Ochoa do not exist, or if they do they're both below Foster and Zieler in the pecking order (yeah right!)

It's not a fatal flaw by any means, more aesthetic and one of those niggly little annoying bugs.

Has anyone else had this problem? I apologise if this is old news, but I don't have the time to search through reams of old threads today at all...

Firstly, they are both brillaint (at least in 07, Ustari and Ochoa).

I've never had this problem though; the team report gets updated the very same day a new player is signed.

Sometimes I don't get teamtalk feedbacks though...

I've had a teamtalk feedback disappear too.

Man, Ustari is unreal in the new game. Ochoa is having to make do with League Cup appearances. I think last night Ustari had played in 21 games this season so far, and has kept 16 clean sheets!

Sounds good.

Still, like you said, not a huge problem I guess. Now all I have to do is convince Ustari to sign for Woodlands Wellington.

I'm just United for a season or 2. Too much debt. I like managing a big team for the first 2, or 3 seasons, then I apply for a Championship or League 1 job. Makes it easier to sign players when yu have a bit of a rep, and it's interesting some of the teams you end up managing. Last game on 07 before I installed the 8.0.1 patch was me leaving Liverpool at the start of season 3 to take control of Fulham who had suffered successive relegations and were mid-table in league 1...talk about low morale!
