The gist of it is simple - we want you to put forward your recommendations for one manager anywhere in UK league or international football that truly earned the prestigious Football Manager - Manager of the Month award.
Cast your vote (with a short reason why) in this forum thread and we'll draw up a shortlist of five nominations.
Then, during Ian Wright's drive-time show once a month, listeners will text in their vote from the shortlist and a winner is announced on air.

Not only did they win every game last month, they did it in style, with 4-1 and 5-0 wins at Bournemouth and Leyton Orient respectively.
He has signed quite a few players from abroad, a transfer tactic not often seen in League One, but their class was plain to see against my side Oldham on the opening day of the season. I said then that, even though we beat them, once they gelled, they'd be a force. And so it has panned out.

Walter Smith - still unbeaten in the Champions League, despite having faced Barcelona, Lyon and Stuttgart. Got the tactics just right to frustrate Barca, and could have snatched it at the death. Oh, and beating Celtic 3-0 as well ;-)

Avram Grant. Really got Chelsea banging in the goals, the Man City and Leicester games were two of the best at Stamford Bridge for entertainment in 15 months.
All of sudden he is not looking like a stop gap replacement.

If it wasn't for the defeats to Hibernian and Dundee Utd I would agree with you.
