There's no 'tactic' , just a flaw that can be exlpoited.

Flaw 1. you can keep more players on the ball, creating a formation, on the pitch it looks like a swarm of players moving the same ball.

Flaw 2. since the players have winger mentality you get more first time shots converted into goals.

My players have crap for long shots anyway, but at least the ball gets to my strikers now.

I'll try to see how the game fares with 7 midfielders moving with the ball at the same time ( mentality +1 notch only ).

Well, i went over the top and tried this with 9 midfielders, all i can say is that pressing is fantastic! 3-4 players attempt a tackle simultaniously and posession is taken back imediatly, from that point however they struggle to pass to each other whenever a player comes close to 'the blob', they do that 'dm holding the ball' thing and get rid of the ball, with a bit of creative freedom however i think this could work. This info was collected from a few matches played with full view.

As for shot/goal ratio it ceartaily looks better for the players that start off as wing men and move inside the pitch when posession is retaken then when they start as regular midfielders / strikers.
