Maybe I'm just having a run of inconsistency with free kicks, but I cant remember the last time one of my players scored with one. Should I ready the water balloons and stink bombs for an all out attack on SI Towers? Or is this unrelated to the patch?

I'm hoping enough people will respond with 'I have no problems with free kicks' and 'Nope, cant say I have this problem' type posts. Rather it was a training issue than a glitch.

didn't think I had a problem till I checked my stats:
playing as man utd
direct free kicks: 2 in 18 games and tied top with a 2 other sides, 6 sides with 1 and the rest haven't scored from direct free kick
I do have 9 goals from indirect Free kicks

I score too many with free kicks. This is my entire game plan:

1. Win a free kick
2. Score it
3. Repeat until 90 minutes are up.

No, seriously, I don't have a problem.

No I can remember scoring a couple and I've only been in charge for 15 games or so. True, they were crappy and deflected but then again none of my players are particularly good at free kicks.

Have a look at the other leagues you will see the league you playing in is woeful compared to all the other leagues. It is something that is being looked into by the testers (or so it says in bugs forum)

current stats for my 2nd season

Goals from dfk's entire league

England (player league) 7
Germany 20
Italy 21
Spain 18

Previous full season was even more marked difference 1 goal in england for every 4 in other leagues.

In terms of ifk's you will see there are about 3 times more scored from in your league than the others...so a match engine issue it appears.
