Just because you don't want to use the editor doesn't mean others don't want to either. And who are you to say remove the editor? We've all paid our money, and we all want to play the game the way we, as individuals, would like to.

Do everyone a favor and keep your ignorance to yourself.

Honestly, why does it bother you that I, six time zones away (assuming you're in GMT), start the game playing a team that doesn't exist IRL?

I happen to enjoy the idea of some multi-billionaire starting his own side rather than buying one, so when I start a game of FM, my team has no players or staff. If the game gives me staff at the start, the first thing I do is Mutual Terminate them. Then, I have roughly six weeks to sign a staff and side and get them match fit. It's a fantasticly fun challenge, one that increases my sense of ownership in the team, and how dare you judge me from afar? Who are you, that you judge?

If you don't want to "accidently" come across a player mentioned as a star then just don't come on the forums or read the posts!

It's a game, let people play it as they want it and if some want to use the Editor to enhance their game play then so be it.
