Was just wondering has anyone had success in the SPL without managing Celtic or Rangers?
The reason i ask is because i recently took over at Hearts after stints at Arsenal, Cameroon and Cardiff and although finishing 2nd (expected 9th) in the first season I just dont know if I can attract good enough players to finally knock Celtic off the top!

Hi, I have currently got to the year 2024 on my FM game with Scottish prem and 1st Div and several other leagues loaded. About 4 years ago in the game I had a look at the SPL and felt it looked boring as the 2 teams had pretty much won and came second 99% of the time. So, I got the FMM editor and saw the other teams had quite a bit in the bank, so I decided I would do stadium upgrades for them (and they pay for it) basically 1 million pounds per 1,000 seats. All the teams (except 2) have over 35,000 seater stadiums and the league is actually a bit more competitive (Hearts have won a few times).
I also combined the Dundees into 1 stadium. Aberdeen have 57,000 (and have been relegated) Dundee Utd have also been relegated. It's just a bit of fun, but really interesting to see how it works. The league is much more competitive now! Does anyone do similar? Does it sound like a crazy idea?

I've done great with Hibs also. I must say I had quite a bit of trouble with getting my team up to the level required in the Champions League, but it was great fun...
