I've so far played 1 game with Inverness Caledonian Thistle and I suspect that ~20 minutes into that game will turn out to be the high point of our season and it's all down hill for the next 37 games (and that last 70 minutes). We led 1-0 at home to Rangers and I was enjoying it, then we got mullered and lost 1-4

I tried Hearts once. Even with lots of money the best they did was third.

Problem was reputation. They could afford to buy the best players in the world (Romanov went crazy somehow and released billions of funds to me) but nobody wanted to come to Edinburgh.

i went hearts,finished 2nd in my 1st season and was runner-up in both cups to rangers.2nd season lost in 3rd qualifying rnd to fiorentina,romanov annoyed i didn,t get to group stages and is ready to sack me soon.

I'm playing as Rangers, and Hearts actually got alot of good Eastern Europeans this year, and are challanging a bit. Still see alot of good SPL players heading off to the England or Italy (rep being better, that is understandable), but the AI seems to be coping, getting good money for them, and using it to buy decent players.

Shocking the difference between the best and worst teams in the Scottish Premier league though. Seem like that league should be smaller by a few teams to balance things out a bit. At least the end of season split thing helps a bit.

Celtic won the league in my first FM08 game as Rangers, but Hibs won it second season, Celtic finished 3rd. I was sacked and Gordon Strachan wasn't!

I tried with Hearts and finished 3rd for about 10 seasons in a row (behind rangers and celtic that is) and won 2 league cups ,i found it very difficult to catch them as where they were signing people like Hildebrand and Raul Garcia i was restricted to English League one players or low class championship players .

Won the treble with Aberdeen in my first season and qualified for the following season's CL.

Haven't played it much lately since I started another challenge - but watch this space, I've taken Dumbarton from the third division to 2nd in the first division, (Scottish Challenge) so more honours could be coming in the future.

I've only been Celtic in FM08. Currently in 2014 and have won 4 Scottish Cups, 4 CIS Cups and 5 Leagues. Only challenge is Rangers and Hibs.
