I'm sorry but maybe there's too many rebound goal after the patch...
or its just happened to me??
is there anyone had some problem like i do??

It just coincides with the too many 1 vs 1's issue. With the latest patch it's the same routine every game.

Highlight comes on, you get a 1 vs 1, striker hits it straight at keeper. Rinse & repeat a few times, until something slightly different happens.

Highlight comes on, you have a 1 vs 1, striker hits it at keepers head, balls bounces off keepers head, keeper lays down dead, striker scores from rebound.

I think it would be better if the number of goals that went straight in was increased and the number of shots parried was decreased number of ball caught increased. This would mean less rebound goals so overall could keep no. of goals per game at pretty much same rate. It would feel like less of a lottery or decrease feeling that you need to pack box hoping gk will parry to your player.

It's always been like this. FM7's engine was good apart from too many of these, dodgy GK distribution and one or two other annoyances.

Far too many rebound goals have continued as has the FM7 foibles to go with the new FM8 bugs.

However, rebound goals do happen in real life (though far less frequently) so its pointless complaining with the characters around here. If it happened once in the FA cup quarter final in 1904 then its fine to happen eight times a game according to half this lot!

Your better off saving the PKMs (or whatever the saved matches are called) and try to put together some statistical evidence and hoy it on the bugs forum.

You'll get slaughtered here for suggesting something happens too often, even if it quite patently does.

Dear Friends,

I have read through ltos of threads and I can assume now that YES it is all related:

- 1 on 1's happen to often,
- supergoalkeepers make wonder saves
this results in :

- a too high shots on target ratio
- (when score) lots of rebound goals.


I am experiencing the same issue, the game is still enjoyable tho, howver I hope that SI fixes this issue asap with next patch,

all we gotta do is wait, don't bite your nail guys, it's all gonna be good,

I don't buy that they wonder saves. The goalkeeper parry weak efforts. It's useless striker the issue not really wonder keeper. I mean any one of us could save the efforts these crappy players come up with.

Agreed, the game is now very very good but there are far too many 1 on 1's and keeper saves from 1 on 1's.

Have SI commented on this does anybody know?

Tune into the Italian Serie A on a Sunday, and you'll see about 60% of goals are rebounds! Maybe a slight exaggeration...but there are more than you think.

All my rebounds seem to end with offside.
