For anyone who caught my last (sensible) thread, you'll know that I'm still playing FM07 (and for the first time doing a bloody good job, too).

Anyway, the thing is I'm still on that game and I'm half way through my second season, and things are STILL going well, in fact they're going even better than last time - I'm joint top of La Liga with Barcelona and five points clear of the rest. We're on a 28 match unbeaten run (league only), taking the final 12-odd games of last season into account. The board expect a "Respectable finishing position in the league".

I've not once cheated as I had promised at the very start of this game, but not once have I felt the need to because not once has it felt like the game was cheating me.
We just keep winning, keep playing well, keep dominating matches.

I'm just waiting for it all to go wrong for no reason, but as yet it's not happened.

So why am I so worried?
It hardly inspires confidence....

Am I just (finally) a "Good" manager?

The game is fed up of re-ranking and realizes you are a persistent little bugger that won't give up, so it's letting you win. Enjoy it!

That game I'm talking about, it's the first time I've EVER completed a season on ANY FM without "reload and retry" - honestly, I was awful for taking it thick when a team I should have beat turned my team over. Done it all the time.

This time, for the first time, my game is "Clean".

Feels good, too.
