While in theory I'd agree with you, the software is probably not advanced enough to realise that you are only bringing him on when the game is already safe, which I think is understandable.

But would you really prefer to go back to previous versions where you don't get any input from the fans on signings, results, etc.?

I think not.

We should be grateful that such a feature has been added and also realise that it isn't always going to be ideal and understood as we would like but is still very much a welcome addition.

This isn't a criticism of you here btw but I just think that sometimes people expect a little too much.

I agree, and I also think this feature is new and we need to be patient. I too think it is understandable that the game can have a hard time trying to understand what it is the human manager is trying to accomplish.

It is fairly obvious that the current code looks at recent signings, looks at their first team form, and then makes a fairly harsh decision. I think in future releases they definitely have some work and tweaking to do on this feature.

Why do you care what the fans are saying anyway? It is obviously a broken feature.
