Alex Ferguson almost got sacked. Sam Allardyce is probably going to get sacked. In continental Europe you get sacked if you're managing a big club and don't win the league that season.
More often than not it's the wrong decision, but Football Manager isn't about right decisions. It's about realistic decisions. The odds are if you've been sacked, you would have been sacked in reality. Their loss, not yours- go to another club and prove them wrong.
I Football Manager was about having fun playing a computer game.

If anything, it enables poorer players to get better by not having to start all over again every few seasons or less. Allows players who struggle to have all the time they need to understand and work with the game.
But that's BAD! People new to the game wanting to have time to sort themselves out before their favourite Prem team goes all realistic on their ass and fires them.
Actually, a thought occurs. I didn't look for it in 08 but in 07 there was an option for a new manager's experience level. Did this affect anything like Time Before Sacking or difficulty in negotiations or anything? I just put it on auto. =P

Well, that example is bad. Lazio are struggling and they havent sacked their manager. Also Southgate is still in a job despite his recent form.
Having the option to never get sacked "isn't making the game easier IN ANY WAY"????
What i meant was the actual game (ie your team vs pc team) isn't any easier (i probably shouldve been clearer). Then again having reputation being made adjustable makes the game easier too
If it is a big issue for you. You can manipulate board expectations using an editor.
The day before the season update, use an editor to lower your teams reputation. Then change it back the next day.
The downside is with lower reputation, you will get a lower standard of youth players generated. And a lower quality staff generated if you do it at the start of the game.

i dont like player whining when they get sacked couse they are terrbible managers at outstanding clubs.
Agreed, eliminating whining from being sacked should be a priority. Clearly this feature would do that in the most efficient way possible. Glad you are on board.
