Using skins. Help would be nice :)

Ok ive downloaded a skin. I saved it into skins folder and then went on preferences. Sound and vision. I scroll to look for the custom skin but i only find the defaults. Help please? When i download the skin do i need to extract it or something like that?

The downloaded file will be compressed so you need to

1) Download and save the file to your PC
2) Open the file with WinZip or WinRar depending on the file type
3) Extract the files to your graphics\skins folder

Do what you did before and it should be there
