Alright mate, I'm halfway through my season with forest - also loaned in Haynes

Doing quite well so far (W10 D5 L1 in the league)
I play a counter attacking 4-4-2, with an attacking team mentality (home and away), direct passing and a deep DL due to lack of pace at the back. Quite wide as well.
The key for me is to list two quick strikers eg Haynes/Tyson as target men, with target man supply set to 'run onto ball'. Midfield four playing lots of through balls and full backs mixed through balls. This works wonders away from home.
When the opposition is playing a defensive formation (usually when we are the home team) I tweak it to play a slower short passing game, with more width and passing focused down the flanks, because the wingers at Forest are creative.
I score a shedload, but also leak goals at the back at a sometimes alarming rate. My games are routinely high scoring, and I rarely keep A clean sheet, don't think this will change til I sign some better DFs. I have my CBs man mark tight, FB zonal tight and like I said a deep line. Seem to get lots of individual errors and pens conceeded tho.
