Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Does the team need to play matches to learn a tactic?

Hey guys. I've just started a game playing as Barcelona and I've created a tactic that I am going to use. My question is if it's important to use this tactic in the training matches or can I let the assistant manager take care of them?

Thanks in advance.

I used too let my assistant take care of friendlies but found it would affect the start of my league games adversly, so stopped and it made a big difference. Your assistant will play his own tactics if you put him in charge of the games then you'll mess with there heads by changing tactics when the real games start. Players take time to adapt to new things on the game just like IRL
