Do you want a challenge? If so, then look no further as this is probably one of the hardest in the game and I'll be very surprised if anyone is able to complete it.
The challenge is as follows. You, as San Marino manager must qualify for a major competition. It's hard enough to even win a match, so I'm thinking this one is going to be a real killer and take a lot of patience and hard work.
You start off as San Marino manager. You can run as many leagues as you like, but I would seriously recommend ITALY down to Serie C2 level as they have a team called San Marino there. In my opinion it would make your life easier if you managed to get the San Marino club job to complement your international one and try and nurture some San Marinese youth players.
I've tried this myself in two games and never won a match, the worst being a 14-0 loss to Belgium in my first game in charge.
To manage San Marino you MUST select to retain all players from San Marino when starting a new game.
If you are interested in this then feel free to post your progress in here and let us know how you are getting on. If this proves popular then I might do some further challenges in the future. The only rule is please don't cheat by using the editor to boost the standard of the players.
i guess if you took a really long term view of the job success with the san marino club team could yield better youth players, youd need to be a very patient person though.

Yup! I'm of the opinion that you would need to get the club team into Serie A (which would take at least three seasons) and then start nurturing your youth players.
