Like what exactly? </BLOCKQUOTE>

I dunno, points for league wins and stuff...ook at how other challenges are given points to (scott's challenge for e.g)

This could lead to more participation and hence more competition!

Well thats up to happywill, but they aren't really needed IMO, its hard enough to stay up, pretty pointless saying you'll get 500 points for winning the Champions League.

Plus dafuge's challenge is the most succesful one here, that doesn't have any sort of points system.

1. Off-course, I can only suggest. The final say would and shoud be by the creator of this thread!

2. Good point. But the fact that its English challenge, gets more ppl involved, I think!

I don't think there's any need for more rules - having such a low reputation and only being able to sign basques is enough restriction.

As for points, I think achievements will be so hard to come by that they will stand out without needing points.

Looking a bit better now, after that first win we lost 6-1, but with a good performance and a bit of luck we beat Racing B 2-0 (they had a player sent off, and were stupid playing 3 defenders against my 3 strikers). I think I might need to change how we play home and away, it seems ok to push up at home, but away it can be a bit more dangerous.

Missing penalties has cost my team a bit, one game it was 0-0 for 90 minutes, then we got last minute penalty, and the player hit it straight at the keeper

We've improved though, and now have 3 wins and 12 draws, 2 points behind 15th, so we're now in the playoff place.

If I can keep them up I can hopefully improve the squad in the summer with some free transfers.

Do you get any prize or TV money in this league? Im using large db so maybe there's a chance of getting youth players, I have to stay up to find out of course

The board keep injecting cash to help out, twice £50k, twice £55k, but we're still about £450k in debt.

ooh you gits, i thought i had finally managed to kick my fm habit but this challenge looks just too good, i might have to have a go! I was interested in the SMSL challenge but thought it would just be a little too difficult, this one seems more appealing though, with slightly more scope for the players you can use.

Before i start can we iron out some rules for the challenge, i want to make sure i am playing the same level as everyone else.

Btw Happywill i did win the European Cup with a Northern Irish league team *cough* *pimp*

Well I loaded all Spanish leagues, normal details, English leagues down to League Two, normal detail again, on large database. I think happywill only loaded the Spanish leagues on small database. It shouldn't make too much difference.

I can't think what other rules are needed to make it even? As you can only sign Basque players you can't get cheat players.

Obviously don't cheat in any way, FM scout, any kind of editors, other peoples tactics/training, but thats obvious for any challenge isn't it?

I have 6 games left to try and keep Cultural Durango up, its going to be very close
