Barnetdom, how have your nation coefficients increased so much?!
So far in my game,
I've reached the Euro Cup 1st Round once, and the Euro Cup Group Stage once.
Linfield have reached the Euro Cup 1st Round once, and the Euro Vase SF once.
Portadown have reached the Euro Cup 1st Round once.
Northern Ireland are ranked 27th in the coefficients, with 1 CL place, 2 EC places and 1 EV place.

As for this season, I'm progressing nicely through CL qualification, with a realistic chance of reaching the group stage.

So far this year, I'm in the CL 3rd Qual round

Am only up to 39th in the co-eff's - think this is mainly due to Glentoran and Linfield doing rubbish and getting knocked out straight away

Slowly improved the squad, should do better in the C.L. group stage this upcoming season.

2013 European Qualification Update
Tandragee are in the Champions League Group Stage!

CL 1st Qual Round 1st Leg 2nd Leg
Eased through against Armenian side Pyunik.
CL 2nd Qual Round 1st Leg 2nd Leg
Scraped through 2nd round on away goals against Shakhtar. I played them 3 years ago in the EC 1st round and lost 4-0 agg so it was nice to put them out this time.
CL 3rd Qual Round 1st Leg 2nd Leg Playing Slovakian side Artmedia Bratislava, drew the first leg (away) 0-0, before winning a nervy home leg 2-0. They went down to 10-men early as we scored a penalty, but were then reduced to 10 ourselves. Knowing that an equaliser would put us out on away goals, I was made to wait until the 94th minute for the 2nd, when 17-year-old David Clarke scored from 70 yards with the Artmedia keeper on the edge on my box.

Drawn against Arsenal, Ajax and Schalke in the Group Stage, expecting a royal spanking. Just received the £2.7M payment for making the group stages, so we now have £8M in the bank

Not much action in this thread lately, come on guys, keep it alive

I've gone from part-time to full-time working so lack time, tiss my excuse anyways.

Just like last time Linfield and this year Crusaders, were knocked-out of Europe in the first Q-round :-( Am through to the group stage without having major problems, beating Basel along the way. In the group stage I will face FC Bayern, Milan and Benifica - so there goes my chances of reaching the knock-outs this season.

Have so far had no players leave me at the end of their contracts so have counted myself as lucky, although it is possible to happen at the end of this season.

you seem to be pretty much at the same stage as I am with my game. Has your club turned pro yet? mine hasn't, despite being loaded.
My training facilities are now top notch with youth academy

glad to see everyone doing so well but my progress is very very slow.
half way thru 08/09 and am sitting mid-table.
Having major tactical issues. I always start a goal down inside 15 mins. Cant do anything to arrest this issue. Its frustrating the crap outta me. Mind yuo, my team is poor as I cant get anyone to join my team. They either dont want to leave where they live or just have no interest in joining Holywood.

I went back to my original 442 in my last game and won well. Still time to make a run for 2nd spot but I need a fair bit of luck.

Its the long haul for me.

Good luck to all else, and congrats to Bob. Brilliant effort

lost 5 v 3 to leverkusand in uefa 1st round and 3 v 1 to linfield in s/f of league cup

despite losing first and 3rd league games i am top after 8 games (winning the other 6) and linfield only able to go ahead (by 1 point) if they win game in hand. Team looking very bright, Knew CM come through the ranks and is a 1st teamer at 17, added to awsome LB and ST i have a quality Player for each zone (although as mentioned above ST leaving to celtic for 2m at end of the season, other star youngsters signed up for 5 years. The team is definatly heading in the right direction, Bringing in 2 star youngsters a year, in 5 years hopefully we will be a much better force. Dissapointed to only play 4 game sin europe this year but with linfield getting through to uefa cup grp stages and doing ok thus far i am sure we will keep in the top 20 coeffs and maintain our 3 uefa berths, meaning i should definatly get a crack at europe next season as i seriously doubt i will finish outside the top 3 (however still unable yet to match linfield who have now amassed a team the quality of ..... spurs wheras i am more like millwall along with 2 others and the rest are barnet-esque.

Moving into a knew flat at mo and working a million hours a day (well posting here) but i hope to play to the end of this season at least this weekend and aim another crack at europe.

would post screenshots but nothing much interesting happening at the mo. Maybe i will put the star players of the seasno up on sunday eve, watch ths space. Untill then keep plugging away - i think another challenge is emerging as to who can stay interested in their game for the most seasons - can anyone get to 2040 before fm2007 is released -
keep updating the seasons on the progress board so we know what season your in

Cheers!
