Does the game have provisions for moving to new stadiums in such cases?

Third season in the Premier Division has been rather disappointing performance wise, but I still managed to stay in the 3rd-5th spot. Got a young defender on loan and another for 1k future fee to shore up the horrible defence. Am mildly optimistic of getting that Euro Vase spot. I rejected a 300k bid for my 30y/o striker and two 800k bids for my two star youngsters at the start of the season. Dwindling attendance and a quarter million debt means that it was a decision I now regret.

Woot. I finished 3rd but Linfield's league and cup double pushed me into the Euro Cup(I think). First round against Azerbaijan side Karvan. Their team of greys are slightly better than my team, but they have never got past the first qualifying in all their previous attempts, and I am going to make it stay that way, hopefully.

You can't move stadiums or build a new one in the game at the moment.

Who were those big bids from? Foreign clubs or do the bigger N. Irish clubs have enough money to bid that much?

The bigger N. Irish clubs. They normal pay 20-50 K to lesser clubs for the very good players. The strange thing is that they seem to sell their players(not on bosman) to big clubs like Celtic and Soton for free.

Good news - I qualified 3-0 on aggregate and drew my highest attendance(1419) so far. 24K for gate receipts. 2.5K for TV money. 1.3K for merchandise. That is the first set of merchandise sold since I first took charge.

Bad news - I drew Beskitas.

Talking about transfers, the two big clubs, Linfield and Glentoran just bought a Man U player each for over 800 K. They definately can afford it. The previous biggest transfer was my sale of a striker for 90K.

Usually the stadium needs to be 95% full before they expand it.

Hello, i was out all yesterday at a festival but i'm back now. I've decided to carry on for now with my small stadium, i'm only selling out for european games anyway. Unfortunately there is no way to do anything about the stadium, other than possibly using a save game editor, i'm not sure if you can even do that. If i start selling out every match i may look into doing something with a save game editor as as far as i'm concerned it's a bug that SI didn't sort out in the game. Surely a team that is very successful with millions in the bank should be able to buy their stadium?

Anyway haven't played much, but just a quick update. I drew Metalurg Donetsk in the 2nd Qualifying Round. I was expecting a much tougher challenge than in the 1st round, but my team actually played much better. Maybe the opposition was weaker or maybe my team were more match fit and had better morale, but after an even game i drew 1-1 away, and beat them 1-0 in the home game. I'm now in the first round proper and have drawn Rapid Wien. I'm not sure of my chances but if i beat them i'll be in the group stages. I sold Paul Munn to Linfield for £450k on the last day of the transfer window, which along with the money from my European matches now means i have £500k in the bank. The board have approved my request to improve training facilities.

Ironix you mentioned earlier that the other teams in your league had done quite well in Europe, that probably explains why they have a bit of money floating around. Linfield went in for my player after winning a European tie. It seems success in Europe is vitally important. And yes its stupid how teams let some of their best players move for free, though occasionally very helpful!

Oh one other thing, despite my European run my reputation hasn't increased much and i'm still struggling to lure players to my club. However i am betting that going professional makes a huge difference here, so i'm going all out to make as much money as i can in the hope that i will turn pro. That's why i sold Munn to Linfield.

Just think if you do reach the group stage you should get a nice amount of money that should set you up for a nice amount of the future.
