Ten Games left and the table looks like this:

Not bad! Scotby are crashing. Daniel Rowe is now on 15 league goals, and in our last match we scored a 94th penalty to win it 2 - 1.

Gateshead Season Review 06/07

http://img434.imageshack.us/img434/8...uetableks2.jpg

So i am the champions , it was tough without signing anybody with a poor Gateshead squad - watching other teams buy was incredibly frustrating. I only used one Grey player and that was young striker Jason Allen who did well as a target man, scoring 4 goals in 11 games aswell as providing 5 assists.

The squad that won it:

Goals came from all round the squad - 22 in total from just defenders, James Curtis with 10, which was phenominal.

Daniel Rowe was a star upfront, and Michael Maidens was incredibly important - his versitility was vital.

It will be very very hard next season, i am expecting to get relegated.

Im praying for some new young players to come through although i doubt i will get any unfortunatly.

Steboyuk. Who are Scotby? I've never heard of them.

Im going to be in trouble this season, as suspected no youth players came through, and looking around at other clubs in the division im going to take a beating here.

Five games into my first season and Braintree are fifth with 2 wins, 2 draws and the last match was a 1-0 loss after my right winger made a suicidal back pass from near the halfway line. I think that my tactics need a little tweaking to stop that happening again.

My first grey player that I signed, Simon Welch, has got 2 goals in 4 matches so far. He's actually my fourth choice striker but is playing due to injuries.
I've also given 2 grey players from my U18 squad full time contracts and one of them, 17 year old GK James McGuire, just finished his first match and only made one mistake and that was forced on him due to my dozy right winger and his backpass. The other one is also 17 years old striker James Hudson and he's so far only got one sub appearance since signing full time.
I'm now going to give another grey player from the reserves this time a few games at right wing just to see if he's any better.
