OK.

I finally started of a new game, and won't screw it up like last time.

I took over at AFC Wimbledon.
Here's my current squad.
Notice the (old) behind each player.
I think it is easy to see which player you will now draft from your youths because you can keep them apart.

Let the game begin....

PS. Is it allowed to offer your current players new contracts? If you see my squad you know what i mean

Nice update SMSL - unlucky with the league, and that forward looks very good.

About the editing - cheers for letting me off there, every FM game so far i us in and the team is all my school mates from about 10 years ago.

Sorry about that, keep up the good work everybody!

Gateshead Season Review 08/09

So once again we stayed up, although it was harder this time as only goal difference seperated us from unlucky Margate.
I picked up 9 points fewer than last season, possibly due to 2 more players retiring.
A tip here is to retrain players to planty of positions the versitility value is vital.

Couple of screenshots then:
League Table

Squad
As you can see - a lot of players now have new positions.

Daniel Rowe

Top scorer for the thrid season running - heres his History
Hes now past the 50 goal barrier.

If anybody wants any screenshots of anything then simply ask!

Sorry for quadruple post - blimey, but so much good news at one point im afraid.
The other link is broken - it showed how the board decided to upgrade the training facilities!

Now some most Great News

These are the two young players that have come through:

Jimmy Nicholson

Matt Grant

The Midfielder looks truly superb, and will go straight into the first team. I had been looking for a central midfielder ever since Neil Maddison retired.

Happy days - and hopefully this will convince some people that this challenge is possible.

After a little waiting I've decided to take over at Blyth Spartans for the 2008-09 season.

Currently have a squad of fifteen (including two goalkeepers), no assistant manager, coaches or scouts.

Looking like a tough season ahead

Congrats. AFIK those are the first two newgens come through at any club so far in this challenge.
The midfielder does indeed look full of potential and could be trained as a DMC if needed for your formation.

The defender could be trained up to a half decent level as a backup.

Yeah spankie, he will be the more defensive minded midfielder in the tactic and another plus point is that both regens have good determination...

Also, well done Wag for starting the challenge, wish you the best of luck mate!

Good to see you can get some youth players while in the Conference, some more success apart from getting to the Conference might just be possible, although it might take a while.
