jimb: your pace and accelaration are both at 13

That's Jimbinho you're looking at Master T. I was talking about Jimb Cavani.
Points of interest in the Cape Verde Squad.....
1. I've got a feeling that we could have some discipline problems with
Belay Ilom. Aggression 20. Determination 20 & Tendancy to punch 15, (yes I know it's not
that punching). He's concede 4 goals in 4 starts plus 1 as a sub which isn't too bad, but I am curious as to how many were penalties as the
driven keeper has already given away 3 freekicks . I don't envisage them being for timewasting.
2. I like the look of
Todler. He looks to be the mirror image of Jimb Cavani, just uses his other foot on the other side of the World. French and Brazilian interest and Naval who I have never heard of. I'm guessing that they are a club on the coast of a French speaking Country.
3.
Aitan Leclerq. Considered a hot prospect at NEC. I'm not sure that being a left footed right back will help him too much though.
4. Already worth over £1M. Sao Paulo have stuck a whopping £6.5M min fee release clause on
Alhajka Anckels to keep the European big boys away. It just might give him the time he needs to develop his game.
5. Mansfield have got themselves a little gem in
Kiros "The Beast" Kimoni. I can see him playing on a regular basis in League 2, and if he can stay there long enough, really helping them move up the leagues. They are one of the better teams in the league as it is. He's made an excellent decision, moving to Field Mill but Birmingham have already tabled a £1.1M bid and it will be a test for Chairman Keith Haslam if he can keep him there.
6
Aberdani has strangely chosen to move to South Africa. While he will not earn big money there, perhaps it might be a smart move in the long term as he will be far more likely to play senior football on a regular basis.
7. The Brazilian game seems ideally suited for
Pedro Cseke. It remains to be seen whether a min fee release clause of only £700k will keep the European sharks away from the Makalele playalikey.
8.
Gazali Hakari can play anywhere it seems. His lack of pace should not hold him back in Germany as he may end up specialising in a more defensive role that the one he currently favours.
9. With a name like Idi Amin, I am not surprised that he is showing early signs of developing into a
midfield general. Fears that he could be influenced by the colourful Mark Bircham may come to nothing because unless he increases his workratem, I can't see him making it in English football.
10. "Ripa" is not what I was expecting at all. It is hoped that the first
Flair Player on the list will not pick up too many bad habits while in Portugal. Rolling around on the floor will not be tolerated by hid hardened countrymen.
11. Nana Pants seems to be a bit of a strange kettle of fish. He can play on the wing but has the pace of a sloat in a coma. That isn't keeping possible suitors away as Inter, Siena and Sao Paulo all close in.
12. Now "Alex" is more of a traditional winger. Pace to burn and a creative eye are his obvious talents, but rumour has it that all it takes is a quiet word in his ear from an aggressive full back, and he suddenly seems less than eager to show for the ball. Spain is no place for hiding from menacing defenders and he will eather learn fast or be out on his ear.
13. Att Jen seems to be first real class act in the group. Again he is not without flaws though and it is hoped that his determination will make up for his lack of pace and workrate and allow his natural skill to blossom. He will be well suited to the Portugese game and will learn a lot from Joao Pinto. It appears at this early stage that he will get a number of early games and is already considered a member of the senior squad.
14. Sithole is already off the mark for Ajax. His achilles heel however could be his lack of blistering pace as so many managers now prefer a man up front with pace to burn.
15. The typical English striker seems to have been reincarnated in Dauginho. He could be Alan Shearer in disguise. Only time will tell if Brazil is the place for a man of his abundant talents to prosper.
16. Some say that he is about as good in the air as a lead baloon. His strengths are definately with the ball at his feet. With a brace of goals to his name already, it may appear that some learning at the Utd Acadamy and then a spell in the lower leagues being kicked by some big lump is what the future holds.
