Default The Can You Hack It Challange

Next Gen FM was a game i was playing on fm 06 and i enjoyed it.

load
7.0.1 database or 7.0.2 when it comes out
load all the leagues possible in England
and load all players from England

Clubs

Premiership club=100 Points
Championship club = 150 points
League one club = 200 points
League two club = 250 points
Conference club = 300 points
Conference North/South club = 350 points
idea being the lower league club the better to show you can hack it as a lower league club

Points

win = 50 points
Draw = 25 points
lose = - 10 points

winning the league = 1000 points
finishing runner up = 500 points
finishing 3rd place = 250 points
Playoffs place = 150 points
winning playoffs = 250 points
runners up in playoffs = 100 points
european place= 100 points
winning european champions cup= 500 points
winning ufea cup= 250 points
runners up in either cup= 100 points

finishing last = - 100 points
finishing 2nd from last = -75 points
relgated = - 50 points

Getting a top goalscorer= 100 points
getting player of the year= 100 points
getting a player/s in team on the year= 25 points each
getting manager of the year= 500 points

the winner will be the one with the most points
after 1 season good luck!!!

People will have to prove it with screenies. Good idea.

So do people have to start unemployed or just pick a club?

The points system is slightly flawed though. I understand that you want people to try with lower teams, and as such they wiil get more points for choosing a team in a lower division, and also more points for having more games than the higher divs.

If it is a competition as you seem to imply, then if it is only one season, it will be a competition between the league winners only, as it will be very difficult for a second place team to catch up the 500pts extra a league winner gets with their like win points and higher chance of having top goalscorer, player/manager of the year.

Also, the points for wins/loss/draw. The reason you get 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw irl is to encourage attacking play, and try to discourage teams from just sitting back and 'accepting' a draw.
Your system gives 50 points for 2 draws, but only 40 for a win and a draw. Thus, you are encouraging defensive anti-competitive football.
Surely rewarding more attacking styles is the way to go, such as the FA's of the respective leagues do at present?
Unless of course, this is intentionally what you have planned, in which case ignore this post.

the point in the game is if you can get a lower league club promoted and not manage a big club with loads of money

prove you can do it by using screenies

you start at a club the person with the most points wins the can you hack it challange for 06/07

there will be a new 1 soon
