Just bought the game yesterday and my first impressions of it were absolutely brilliant. (bearing in mind i didnt think i could play any game more than FMH07). I started a game as the almighty stockport county and got promoted finishing top of league 2. Christmas time in my first season i noticed several top class players had expring contracts.(E.g. Mascherano (spelling?)). I approached to sign these players, bit of a long shot i know, but my attempt was successful. My team in league 1 now is unbelievable.

DR - Nedum Onuoha
DC - Gareth Owen
DC - Ashley Williams
ML - Anthony Pilkington
MR - Chris Eagles
MC - Mathieu Flamini
MC - Javier Mascherano
FC - Frazier Campbell
FC - Luke Moore

Its working well so far, except for a rather high wage bill! Also i had to sell a few players to balance it. Try it and see how it works for you.

I could do the same in FMH07 with the Melbourne Victory. After season 1 half the Premier League were playing footy for my team ;-)

A fair few of those players could debatably move for small fee's or bosmans irl where they're not consistent first team players of the others Mascherano wouldn't surprise me if he moved at the end of his contract simply to the highest bidder ...

Yeah, Mascherano was fed up with no first team action. Half my players got snatched the season after though due to big club release clause.
