I enjoy an in depth FM with 37 leagues as then it gives me lots of opportunities for different management jobs. But it seems alot slower on FM08.

Surely other people must play with a large amount of leagues?

Im not exactly sure what performance by PC is but i will list it if someone tells my how to find out.

Please could someone advise me on what i can buy to upgrade my PC so my FM performance is increased.

RAM get like 4 GB and processor you will need a core 2 duo. Get a cheaper one and overclock it. Should be good for running those on large database.

Nah don't bother with a duo, get a quad core and you'll see your game really fly.

I run 30 something leagues with a quad and 2gb RAM and I race through the seasons.

Just asking as we are both in Australia, and i'm looking to see how much i might need to spend when i upgrade.

4gb(only 3.3gb usable on a 32-bit OS) is a waste unless you plan to run a lot of apps at the same time, which you really shouldnt if you're looking to optimise the games performance. 2Gb is all you need and even then you should have space to spare, after you have that its all about the CPU speed.

$350 for the Quad Core and $130 for the RAM which was DDR2, you can go cheaper if you get generic RAM or more expensive if you want to splash on DDR3.
