I like the improvement -- [righton]

Could you maybe put a gaussian blur on the wall shadow? (the shadow of the orb on the window wall) It kinda' looks like the orb should be cut in 1/2 then place about 1 inch from the wall the way you have the shadow set up! It should look a little blurred -- because in real life, light bends around objects. And the further you get away from a hard surface (such as a wall) the shadow becomes less defined and more blurry!

Also, I liked the way you had the lighting scheme in the first one. I like the new lighting scheme in the second one -- is there a way to possibly combine the two? What I mean is, keep the window bar shadows like the first one and meld them with the lighter color of the second one! It'll add some great dynamics to the picture!

Oh, before I forget, the second link doesn't work -- maybe you might want to get that fixed. I would like to see the tutorial for this!

But otherwise, I love the improvement you made on it!! Try those hints to see if it makes it look better to you!

Great improvement with the light, but I wonder about that shadow on the wall. Seems like the shadow should be opposite the window not on that wall

Duga, I'm going to be honest. I think that a lot of things seem to be wrong with this image; shadows missing, lack of softness in light and shadows, shadow too dark, wrong angles, etc.

I know that you use Rhino 3D and C4D. You might consider to rebuild this scene in 3D to see exactly what's wrong with it

No more C4d. I do plan to use all those nice suggestions in my new project (same window light rays)
About the link I'll have to use other host since doc isn't an image

The bottom link works. That's a good thing -- and the link on the resulting page is a good link to some nice tutorials!! [righton] For the rest of us, here is that link:

I do have to agree with everybody though, although it is better, you do need to fix it up a bit!

Here's a new model of a room this time with a chair. I think I made some good use of all ur advises and hence some improvement can be detected. I'm very thankful for all these educational ideas which have contributed so much to this final picture.
For the record, the renderer is Bryce and the beam's PS:
