i play him as a cm (accomplished) doin forward runs and my team totally suits him but he allways get 6 or 7. has anyone been able to get him to play well? was like jo cole on fm07, never played to his ability. iv noticed generally players match rating are lower than they got in fm 07. (apart from keepers who allways get an 8 against me).
He hasn't been great for me. I've persisted with him for a season and a half, and he's scored a few, but not as many as the ageing Deco who rarely plays.
I paid £50m for him though (a snip comapred to the £80m I paid for Messi in the same week!!)
I usually play him as the centre AMC of a 4231 formation, with Ronaldinho/Essi either side of him, Henry/Villa ahead and two of Gerrard, Essien, Hargreaves, Frings.

He's started to annoy me to be honest.

An you bought Messi? So you aren't actually Barcelona? Which means you bought Henry and Ronaldinho too?
i got messi for chelsea. and he brings the heat. av of7.79 in 32 league games.
for kaka i think you need to have him in AMC position, with full CF, good attacking mentality etc. free role? include him in playmaker list. basically, let him hav the ball at his feet, b/c his rating goes low due to lack of jumping ability.

try him on amc position and free roll, and long shots or run with the ball
in this position he's the best
free roll gives him chance to prove himself if he can or not performe at all
long shots will deliver some goals (he's a brazilian master)
run with ball will enable him to dribble more and get hes skills showing
Actually, I moved them into my team in the editor. I don't have to time to spend building up a team and all that.
My team of stars does well, except last year when I didn't win the PL (that might gove you an idea why I have to modify things).
I don't care though, at the end of the day, it's the same game as everyone else, I just happen to have an exceptionally good team, I don't have the time to go around sepnding ages tweaking tactics etc.
(Actually though, I bought Villa and Hargreaves as well, only Gerrard, Ronaldinho, and Henry out of that list were moved)

I don't care who cheats to be honest, its not for me to judge how someone plays their game, I was just curious is all. I didn't think it would be possible to buy them all that's why I was wondering, unless of course you waited until they were all 34
