Something I haven't seen or don't remember seeing...
Just watching a replay of Seb Larsson's rocket to beat Spurs (LOL) last night, I just realised I don't think I've ever seen a longshot hit like that on FM. That is, starting down the middle and veering away towards the corner, which is very common when you hit a ball that's coming across you or hit one first time.
The only longshots I can really recall are the one that goes dead straight and the famous 'corner curler', when it starts wide and curls right into the far corner. But never the one that starts straight down the middle and then veers away.
Has anyone seen it as a matter of interest? I think they look the best in real life too, as far as longer/spectacular goals go.

The 'legendary' player Ray Houghton's advice was used when creating the match engine so I am not surprised you dont see this in the game because I don't think that players in his day had skills like that!
