Been slightly irritated by the performance of my DM recently so I decide to find him a replacement. As it is October I have plenty of time to scout around and find the player I want. After reading through numerous scout reports I find the player I want. I start off easy bidding around 4M for him and they come back saying they want 8M or something. I decide to do the impossible in this game and try to negotiate. I offer them 5.5M and is chocked when they accept. I click on offer contract and get a out of bound error message, the game is still running though.
I get back into the game and find that the contract screen is bugged. The player wants 0/week and a signing on fee of 375k and various clauses. I can't offer him any clauses and no signing on fee, with the hope of renegotiating the contract I still make an offer. Unfortunatly I get a reject and no negotiation option. Trying to put in a new bid of the 5.5M they had accepted and they come back asking over 8M again and wont negotiate any further. The silly bug has just cost me atleast 3M if I want to pursue my interest in this player. Feels kinda gutted that the teams valuation of the player went up 3M in less than a day though.
