Thats a good idea, im sure that will work fine! But am I the only one that finds it kinda ruins the game when you start a season in July with players and managers that weren't at the club in real life until the end of August or in some cases January?

no you are not... I use my own database and I started my games without cash for the 1st transfer window.

in the second season i was expected to be relegated, but finished 3rd in the league and lost in the playoff final to York :/

Should have won the league but i had a tiny squad and towards the end of the season games come two days apart :/

This season I've managed to sign some youngsters released from Arsenal and Blackburn Am expecting a much easier season!

very suprised with 1st beta patch!

played one game, UEFA cup against FC Midtjylland.

match finished 0-4 for my Blackburn sside. here are some match stats:

-posesson: 50-50 (set comfortably in front my area in the 2nd half, gave them to play)

-shots: 10/3 FC Midtjylland
14/9 Blackburn (me)

-corners: 0-2 for Rovers

-fouls: 11-15

-off-sides: 3-6; big suprise here, previously on official patch, there were many matches with 20+ off-sides!!!!!

it was easy win against poor team. what suprised me, were goals my team scored. first one came from nice action down left, after bouncing off GK, Santa Cruz managed to shot Derbyshire, then ball came to Mokoena and he scored.

the second one was maybe the most beatyfull goal I saw any of my teams to score. Rigters pulled down the right and played a through ball for Santa Cruz and he scored after one-two with Derbyshire. exellant counter attack.

3rd one was a Reid's long shot!!! and the last one was a little strange. GK kicked the ball and made an assist. Derbyshire out run the defenderand scored frome 1 on 1 situation, lol!!!!!

4 goals; a crush in the box, beatyfull counter attack, long shot and 1 on 1...

since that was my only game I played on this patch, I will not rush into any comments on match engine. I don't expect it to be that easy in my next match against Man Utd.
