Well done on the list
All the problems I've experienced are in there, and this one Reading massively over-rated.
is exactly what I was thinking last night when they battered my Villa side 3 times in one season lol.

| Not really, huge lists like this are unmanageable which is why we ask for people to post each issue in it's own topic with supporting evidence.

I didn't have time to read your whole post (short work break), but it does seem to cover an extensive range of issues.
I don't like to be negative about the game because, as a computer programmer working in particular on algorithmic stuff, I know just how difficult it is to have software anywhere near bug-free and also to keep a hugely complex algorithm or set of inter-acting algorithms balanced.
My main disappointment concerns the morale/team talks/media interaction triangle and its seemingly ever-increasing effect on the game. For me they are beginning to spoil the game because their impact is too big, but there can never be enough options to make them really work.
Maybe morale has always had the same effect on a team and I just never noticed because it didn't used to have coloured arrows and didn't used to be on my default squad screen. It just seems now that it has a bigger impact on results than tactics, transfers, player attributes and everything.
Clearly morale, media interaction and team talks add realism, in theory, but only if they are so detailed that I they take away from the enjoyment of the game. In reality you have an infinity of possibilities for trying to boost team morale or responding to the media and a team talk is not a one-line sound-bite, it is an interactive thing in which a good manager, I assume, can gauge the reaction of his players to his words as he goes along and change the direction of his team talk mid-flow or speak to individuals after seeing how they react, etc, etc.
I love the vastly superior realism of FM to most of the 3d-pitch type games, but sometimes I just feel that the "simulation" aspect is starting to become detrimental to the "gameplay" aspect.

While I agree with almost everything on the list, I have to object to the scouting section.
Scouting did work "better" in FM07, but it was unrealistically good. There's almost no risk involved in signing recommended youth. Almost all of them do turn out to be world-class or close to it.
In FM08, it's a lot more of a crapshoot like IRL. Some make it and some flame out while most fall somewhere in between. I'm personally loving the new scouting system.

I haven't experienced the FM08 scouting much, but FM07 scouting was definitely way too easy to find brilliant young players.
I'm a bit perplexed though by my Inverness Caledonian Thistle scout's first set of recommended players though - they include a Celtic first teamer and half the Hibs team. Now clearly they are talented young players, but surely my scout knows that none of them will move to Inverness so why recommend them?!

i love the game, and am as addicted as everyone else is, but this has been the most dis-appointing and had the most negative feedback than any other FM/CM game that has come out (been playing since 99), SI should listen to these comments, take notes and work on them for next year, instead of banning people for given there sometimes very angry replies, understandably though when they have spent money on a game they are not happy with.
another thing i find wierd, is i scout a region, i.e carrabian, in september and the bar is full 90 or so%, by december the knowledge bar has dropped to 15%.. surely there have not been that many changes in players/standard there in 3 months? its just not relistic, it should drop by 10-15% a year, larger countries i.e spain, should drop by more. well done on the post.

The scouting knowledge percentage level make no sense whatsoever. It seems like there's a permanent baseline knowledge and everything else gained is temporary. Doesn't really bother me too much, but another example of poorly thought out "feature".
