As I've posted before the South American weather needs fixing. Basically certain counties have the summer and winters the wrong way around. For example, in Uruguay, their summer is in Dec-Jan however, all the pitches are frozen.

I've just ran a game in Brazil and the climate seems to be working correctly there.

Basically, this is really bugging me as it's taking realism out of the game for me. I've had a look at the weather settings on the editor but can't quite see what I need to adjust and how much to correct this problem.

Please can SI or anyone else help me to correct this.

Have you tried checking the editors forum. The people over there might be more adept at helping you.

Try changing the start dates of each season.

But the problem is that the game does not seem to recognize the dates set there.

i played a game as newell's old boys in argentina and had the same thing in their summer with frozen pitches and orange balls!

right ill give it a shot

load the editor
click on weather
click on a season
change the % for each one (temperature, perception, wind etc) obviously each % needs to be at 100% but it works it out for you
save
quit

The problem in the game is that South America is having the Northern Hemisphere season start dates, instead of the Southern Hemisphere start dates.

But snowing does happen in South America, but in the Winter, not in the Summer.

Is that something that can be fixed in the 8.02 patch PMLF?

I guess so. They just need to use the dates set in the database.

Cheeers guys, wish SI were post something here because they must know the correct figures to edit into the editor to fix this.

Doesn't make the game unplayable by any means but it needlessly takes some of the realism out of it.
