I love scouring the lower leagues and abroad for young talent before plopping them in my under 19/reserve squads. I would much rather purchase about 20/30 youngsters than who have some potential rather than one player who's seen it and done it.

So, I'm more of an Arsene Wenger. I've never really spent that much money in the latter CM/FM games. I most that I spent is about £1.4 million for Stephen Murray on CM4, which was money well spent as we won the SPL with Falkirk that season.

D. Simpson (Also in First XI)
D. Gibson
C. Cathcart
F. Campbell (Tempory replacement for inj. Rooney)
P. Bardsley

Tevez is a loan, not a transfer.

There are distinct differences between the two, Jose usually spends lavishly on several players (Until this year) while Sir Alex usually spends all his budget on one reject and one good signing

And Tevez for 38mill? Good research there.

He's not on loan in my game and I am playing with the latest patch and dataupdate for FM2008.

He was listed as joining for an undisclosed fee in 2007 I am in the 2010 season btw.

I'm more of an Arthur Daley.

I buy for cheap or free, then sell them for hugely inflated prices off the back of a couple of good seasons, only for them to fall to pieces as soon as they get into the hands of their new owner.

Two of my most recent deals have been: Marco Weber (signed from Young Boys on a free, sold to Man U 2 years later for £40m. Man U subsequently sold him to Charlton for £1.7m just over a year later)
and Marcio (striker signed from Juventus on a free. Sold to Cagliari for £40m after 4 years. Scored 1 goal and 1 assist for them in two years (54 apps) before leaving for nothing.

Once I got Sheffield Wednesday to part with a sum equal to their entire tansfer spending for the previous 15 years (£20m) for a dud that didn't score for them for a year and a half (and that was in the division below the one they had bought him for)

I kind of felt guilty for not spending more than 10% of my transfer budget for two years in a row. I thought the fans or even the boss might start to complain.

So I did it! For the first time, I actually bought a first teamer! 17M!

But now my guilt is worse.

(playing as Panathinaikos)
