Having finally managed to get mini-scout to work, I was surprised by some of the things that I found out about my Spurs team. Players I had expected to have really high CA / PA didn't really impress, and vice versa. I found out that Anderson was my best player, and others were all probably droppable or sellable if needs be. But how important are CA / PA?
Henri Saivet, for example, has scored 48 goals in the 70 odd performances he has made for Spurs ever since he got Berbatov's starting spot. But, he only has a PA of 172, and a CA of 171. This is a lot lower than other top strikers in the game, but they score a lot less than Saivet does for me.
So, how much should CA or PA affect the way we play the game? Should I sell Saivet and bring in a striker with a PA of 185 plus or should I stick with him?
Any ideas / comments would be much apprectiated.
I would just stick with the guy who's scoring. He's already settled and doing the job you need, and its not going to be easy to find someone, regardless of there CA or PA that will come in and beat his scoring ratio.
And who would sell someone with that goalscoring record playing at their peak anyway. Wouldn't happen.
it will matter to a certain extent, saivet is doing well cos hi CA is very close to his PA. someone with a low PA is probably not going to do as well as someone with high PA but only if its is really low like 140. i would stick wiv saivet as hes doing well
current ability is only an indicator of how far along in his game he is , towards his peak ..being the potential ability
ie. someone with a PA of 190 has the potential to become amazing, especially if he's only got a low CA and his stats are ok
but that doesnt mean he WILL reach 190, and probably wont tbh
CA and PA are hidden for a reason tbh.. its not an indicator of how good the player is...
potentially you could have a player with maxed out stats in everything at a low CA with a low PA ... doesnt mean they are rubbish.. just means they arent going to improve
