ive played football manager now for to much time but i want to play more but ive been the normal teams constantly madrid's barcelona united's etc but was wondering who to be as a challenge but i dont know league like the championship very well so wouldnt know who to buy for them .. and jus wondering does anybody have any usefull idea's

isnt the whole point of it to be someone you dont know? in a league you havent cracked yet?

id try either one of the mid to lower prem teams..

your portsmouths and evertons for instance and bring them up to prem glory against the big boys

or take leeds or notts forest back up the leagues to glory ... you dont know the players to buy and thats where the challenge is... not buying the usual banegas, van der vaarts, fernandez' etc etc etc zzzzzzzz

i was in the same boat mate, until i started a game with plymouth

you have an average squad with potential to start with, a few million to spend, 20k stadium, youll look to middle table finish but could easily push for play offs

im now into 2011 and loving it, ive just finished second in the prem and uefa cup winners
