x-Baz-x is infamous around these parts
Default Need a world class ST + CB....

For Chelsea. Just started off my season with them, and Abramovich gave me a £86.8 million transfer budget....brilliant.

First thing I did was to loan out Ben-Haim, Wright-Phillips...going out to Lyon + Valencia respectively. I then sold Pizarro for £4m to Getafe + Ferreira for £2.5m to Man City.

So far I've bought:
*Marcelo, from R.Madrid, for £5.5m (loaned him out straight away to get experience because I have Cole + Bridge)
*Maxi Rodriguez, from At. Madrid, for £16m
*Cristian Zaccardo, from Palermo, for £15.25m (Expensive I know, but really wanted him.)

I also tried to buy Ricardo Montolivo, but he went to R. Madrid, and I also tried to sign Andrea Barzagli, but he decided to go to Inter

Apart from that, have the same squad as you start out with and still have £55.96m left to spend...my wage budget is £1.77m p/w, and at the moment I’m spending £1.37m p/w, so wages aren't a problem.

I couldn't be bothered to play the friendlies, so got my assistant to do them for me. My first game in charge was the Community Shield, which I won 5-1, with Drogba scoring 4.

Screenshots, for anyone that’s interested can come later, I'm at college right now and I'm running FM on my own laptop.

Any help or suggestions would be wicked, thanks.

I personally, would invest in a striker with lots of pace, to play off Drogba. Palacio, Delgado, Martins, and pandev are a couple of players that spring to mind.

As for DC, why not try Zapata or Felipe from Udinese. Or you could look at Breno, the young brazilian. If none of those take your fancy though, have a look at Criscito, Garay, Ricards, Corluka, Mertesacker, or Kompany. I'm sure they could al do a job alongside JT.
