I already made a big mistake by buying Van der Vaart. Cos he was crap at playing as an MC. I don't play an AMC in my team so if I bring Riquelme in, I need him as an MC.

Does he perform as an MC?

Playmaker types AMCs rarely perform at an MC role unless they have decent defensive skills and work rate. So my advice is no, don't buy Riquelme for an MC role.

he will work in MC if u have a strong DM behind him or if u play a 5 man midfield with riquelme playing an free role where he can control the game. which team are you playing with? and who is in your midfield?

i have played riquelme with nasri both at MC in my man united team. worked really well for me.
