Same problem for me at Billericay.
Its like a huge money hole. I'm £125K in the red first season.

The axe is looming I fear. We're second in the league but everyones unhappy cos they all want new contracts and I just cant afford them.

lucky i sold most of the players whose contracts were expiring first off. My board still is satisfied with my current financial position, wtf?
Anyway about to sell one of my prize assests who has been attracting interest. St Juste my left winger either to hull or QPR, fr 250k. Should keep me in the black till the end of the season.

I've finally reached the mid-point of the first season with Marine, so I'm going to stop and have my tea.

The League is neither going well or bad, we are mid table but 9 points from top and 9 points from relagation - so it could go either way at the moment.

We have managed to draw half our games, failing to score in 13 games this season but keeping 13 clean sheets. Which leaves us with the worst attack and best defence in the league.

I bet the Gateshead game gave our loyal 500 fans a heart attack:

Injuries to my best defender, two midfielders and constant resting/injuring of my strikers isn't helping but the arrivals of Maynard (Crewe) and Foster (Oldham) on loan should help, as Romario is happier to be clubless than play for Marine

I thought I would join in as it looks like fun.

The team I am is Billericay, chosen from Bath, Burscough or Frickley.

As people are discussing finances I thought I would share my screen as it is only 15th November and already £130000 in the red.

Me thinks I will have to do some selling or have a cup run.

Finances Nov 2006

As for the league I am doing suprisingly better than I thought I would. I am top on goal difference. P12 W8 D1 L3.

Early days yet but need to get the finances in order. I will update at half way stage.
