Right pre-season over, hated by the fans, so a good start there. Initial problems that spring to mind. Thought originally the ground would be the worst handicap, but the clubs reputation is so low nobody will sign. I think I tried nearly every football league player who was available for loan and the only success has been Michael Nardiello from Liverpool, who then promptly got injured.

Picked up two cast offs from Man U, one from Chelsea and one from Spurs but I'm bleeding money quicker than a leg amputation and unless I can bring the Essex faithful flooding in Administration already looks possible.

Results are encouraging though with 3 wins and a draw first four games but the squad is painfully thin and I've no midfield cover at all.

Damn you Daffy, the Champions League looks a long way off this evening

I give up......and will start again with another team (hopegully a team with some money).

The last straw was, that on the day before the match against the #1 team, i got the message from my physio, saying that my only remaining GK will be out for 2-4 months. That's right.....my 3 GK are all out with injuries for 2-4 months.
