The Norway Challenge!

Alright, I'll try my hand at creating a decent challenge. If it's rubbish, please tell me.

Way too few people (in my experience) play in Scandinavia. In my opinion, this is the most difficult area to play in, since even the big teams aren't that big. I imagine this will take a while.

Since dafuge's challenge is the only one I've had any relationship to, the outline is a lot like his.

Rules:

Load up all leagues in Norway, Sweden and Denmark with a medium database and attribute masking on.

When creating a new manager, your nationality CANNOT be any of those countries (or Finland), and your reputation should be set to 'Automatic'.

Start the game from the start of the 06 season (Norway).

Go on Holiday until the next season (I guess until 31/12/06). Once the new season starts, take over any of the newly promoted Norwegian teams in the Norwegian 2nd league (there are 4 groups to choose from). It doesn't matter which, since I don't think there's any difference in the newly promoted clubs as far as players/staff goes.

If you get sacked, you can take over any club that fits the criteria.

Goal:

Your goal is to bring the team up through the divisions (duh), eventually taking the Norwegian Cup, League, Royal League, and winning at least one European Competition (UEFA or CL). Simple enough, right?

Please post a screenshot of your manager screen once you have a team. Remember to pick 'Automatic' on experience, now, so you don't have to start over.

I will, of course, be doing this challenge, as well. I'll be posting my manager info in a few posts...

Yeah I like your challenge. The one team that i would like to play as is Voss but i think they are too low down to get promoted plus i lived there last year.

I know how you feel. I'd love to play as Bjørgan, which is the local team where I come from, but their chances of promotion are very low (they're not even drawn in the Norwegian Cup!).

The S&N Challenge - Scandinavia & Nordic

I started a game, in Scandinavia, but it is slightly different from your layout.

Rules:

Load up all leagues in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finalnd and Iceland with a medium database and attribute masking on.
Use patch 7.0.2.
When creating a new manager, your nationality cannot be any of those countries, and your reputation should be set to 'Automatic'.
Start the game from the start of the January 06 season (Finland).
Start UNEMPLOYED, there is plenty of choice of clubs, around 30 available.
If you get sacked, you can take over any club that fits the criteria.

Aim:
To win all domestic trophies in these countries and taste European succes (note. the Intertoto Cup does not count as European success, at least the EUFA or ECC).

A list of the trophies possible:

Sweden - Second Divion (MG, SG etc)
- Swedish Cup
- First Division Elite
- First North/South
- Premier Elite

Iceland - Super Cup
- Premier League
- First Divsion
- Iceland Cup

Finland - Premier Division
- First Division
- Finnish Cup

Norway - Premier League
- First Division
- Second Division
- Norwegian Cup

Denmark - Premier League
- First Division
- Second Division
- Danish Cup

Note/ I'm not 100% sure those are all the trophies possible, but will update as soon as i can.

There is of course another Scandinavian Challenge which predates yours by 2 days. This is Tillas Rags to Riches challenge and is set in Sweden. Admittedly there are only 2 of us playing this one so far.
