Lions 8 - 0 Lecco

A Huge win, but coming at a great price.

Split view

In typical Lions fashion Benj opened the scoring in the 21st minutes after Terroristio played a lovely across over the face of the goal. Then it was Terroristios turn to take a goal on his first competitive game converting after Fairgrieve played a long ball upto the edge of the box where the striker smashed it in.
Then the first injury struck with Robaldinho collapsing in a heap after falling heavily from an aerial challenge. But things started to look up again when Terroristio got his 2nd of the game from a superb Benj ball. It was then of course time for the custom own goal. (they keep getting wilder) the CB decided he would turn around half way in his half a fire a back pass while his keeper was in no mans land!
HT - Lions 4 - Lecco 0
The 2nd half started brightly 20 seconds into it and Terroristio sealed his hattrick after a pass from Martins split the defence in two. Benj then replied in similar fashion banging in his hattrick. Petrov and Sparrow getting the respective assists.

But the strikers joy was short lived 10 minutes later he was stretchered off after a crunching tackle. The final goal came via an Andrews penalty courtesy of Taraldo (who got convienietly Stretchered off also) Andrews converted to seal the game at 8 - 0.

My MoM is Terroristio solid first performance getting his hattrick. Looks like him and Andrews will be playing up front as Taraldo, Benj and Robaldinho could all be out for upto a month!

Manager note - This league is much to easy but it will allow the players to improve their stats for when we achieve promotion, on my test run things didnt seem this easy...and on a side side note: Thunder, lightning and snow \o/

Lions 8 - 0 Carpenedolo

A highly flattering score for the Lions boys, The opposition will feel very aggrieved to lost this game by such a margin and not got a goal themselves.

Split view

Fairgrieve opened the scoring with a beautifully hit free kick (beckham-esque) into the bottom right corner. soon followed by 30 minutes of extreme pressure on the Lions goal with Sheppherd and Mac working their socks of to keep a clean sheet.
Soon followed the onslaught of young Terroristio netting two goals in quick sucession Baggio and Cruzinho getting the assists from devilish crosses. The 2nd half started in much the same fashion Terroristio sealing his hatrick after a rebounded shot came off the keeper.
It was then time for super - sub andrews to ger his name on the sheet again a smashing finish off an el Freepo cross. Fairgrieve then got his second courtesy of another superb freekick ( i think i made the right choice there!) The game finished with terroristio getting another two goals courtesy of assists from Andrews and Shepherd assits.

MoM is Terroristio once more 5 goals what more can you ask for?? 6 maybe?

Benj
Robaldinho
