Match 3 is against Elversberg- a few changes to the line-up have been made.

Overview

Stats

A first half-strike from Al-Dahash was enough to settle this uneventful match- Wurster had the bulk of possesion but failed to convert this into real chances. Only two shots on target was not good enough for Klose who looked very frustrated with his team's lack of cutting edge.
On the plus side for Wurster their goal rarely looked under threat from Elversberg and they only generated one shot on target themselves.

Man of the Match- Patrick Star Made a nice contribution to the defensive effort of Wurster.

Klose has announced that he will be making several changes to the team for the next match after this display. Wurster still sit top of the table- now by 2 points.

We had 14 shots abut only had 2 on target:eek: I think our strikers need shooting practice

Match 4 vs Reutlingen

Overview

Stats

An assured first half showing from Wurster- two goals in the first twenty minutes Klingsman scores his first career goal and this is added to five minutes later by Salman's sixth of the season.
The match was fairly even but Reutlingen did not look very likely to get back into the game in the second half.

Man of the Match- Marcus Cook A fine midfield display from the young attacking-midfielder, showed his eye for a pass when he played a perfect pass to set up Klingsman's goal.

Wurster top by 2 points going into the game against Bayern Amateure.

Disaster Strike At Wurster!!!!!!!!!!!

Call-Ups

Just hours before the Bayern Game manager Klose recieves some bad news- 7 of his players are away on international duty and the match is NOT postponed!!!!!
So with seven first team players away how will Klose and his Wursties perform??

Overview

Stats

After a poor start and overall first half- which is only lifted when Schutz puts through his own net on Wurster's first meaningful attack of the half. Before that some poor defending by Star leads to Stier being clean through on goal- he makes Star pay by blast the ball past Wurster keeper Bon Bon.

After the break Wurster come out and play leading to a few chances including Harding hitted the post with a chance to put Wurster infront.
Bayern then come back only to be denied by Bon Bon on several occasions.
But then with only 15 minutes to go Healy scores a 35 yard rocket into the top left hand corner to give Wurster the lead for the first time in the game.
In the eighty eighth minute the game is settled when a Fairgrieve cross is met with a volley by Harding into the far corner making it 3-1 Wurster.

Wurster are now top by 5 points although second place have 1 game in hand.

Man of the Match- Matthew Fairgrieve his cross set up the goal that sealed victory and his wing play constantly caused problems to the opposition defence.
