You see...the better the teams, the lower the points.

and the points go as follows:
predicted points
20 +20
19 +18
18 +16
17 +14

3 -14
2 -16
1 -18

This covers all the poiints and widens the gap a bit.
For example, someone starting with Barca (predicted 1st) will get -18, and someone starting with Celta (8th) will get -4.
There is a difference of 2 each. Hope this makes sense...lemme know if still doesn't/ </BLOCKQUOTE>

And one more thing aren't you supposed to start as a team in the lower half so you couldn't be Barca anyway.

Although, If in subsequent season, you get an offer from Barca, you could move to them. You will obviously get -18 points for that. But understandable, more chances of winning a trophy.

btw...do you think that point system seems ok? Or could you recommend any possible changes and such, if need be?

I chose to start with Mirimar from Uruguay (or however it is spelt)

So with Uruguay being 12 points and being predicted to finish 16th 16 making a grand total of +28 points

I decided to start in Italy (+2) with a team that already has points deducted, well one. I had prior motives to doing this but what you going to do. Siena are predicted 18th, not really sure how many points I get for that. So here are my screenshots.

The Team had to put some really good players in the reserves. Should get some good money though!

Predicted 18th which to be honest I think is harsh, they used to have a decent squad till I came along but anyways. Thats everything, anymore screens needed just say!

I promoted all players that were between 19 and 22 into the first team and the rest in the reserves plus I've got the under 19s aswell. Can we sell players to make up some money as my reserves are nearly all worth almost a million or more and ive got 10/11 of them. A couple are even worth up to £3/4m and it would be good to add to my 750k budget.
