Yep i am currently over the wage budget and losing money fast, but i am getting some good wins especially after going 2-0 down against Skene and ended up winning 3-2 due to a great tactical decision to change to narrow and counter attacking as they tried to play the football i was just looking for goals. I am currently 2nd and doing well.
As for Jens Nordstrom im currently playing him through the middle but pushing foward fast as at the minute i dont rate Alen Hardaga, how has he done for you guys?
The only problem with Nordstrom up front his composure is poor but i guess only time will tell as im going to rotate him with Zunda.
I have one question though can i change the under17 at start of game which will play 10 games a season or does it have to be the same until he retires??
And how are all your youngsters getting on anyone coming through yet??

| Hardega was excellent for me first season, and I attempted to renew his loan for the second, but Halmstad denied me. He was since released during my transfer embargo, and retired before I could sign him. I'd have him in my team any day. Quote: |

| Doesn't necessarily matter at this level, as long aas his physical stats are up to scratch, he'll do ok anywhere. Quote: |

| I figure it's the same one as long as he's with your club and not injured.

Some from the first season are doing well, defenders Björk, Sundqvist and Johansson in particular. There's also a pair of wingers that have some talent, and Tobias Andersson in central midfield, who have poor stats, but delivers anyway. Didn't get any youths second season, while the third season batch have just come through. There's a midfielder that my talentless am claim is the best player in the squad, we'll see...
I've probably messed up the quoting now.

I won't be doing game-by-game descriptions this time, not enough time, and you'll get bored anyway.
We were named over-achievers of the season for 2007, about time too….
Club value is up to 7K, but due to the patch I can't say how that relates to the other teams.
Media predicts us 9th, safe for the first time. Board and supporters still want us to fight relegation.
We're in the CUP! YAY!
None of our loanees were interested in continuing their stay with us, even if we are their favourite club. This disappointment is offset slightly by the boards silent decision to lift the transfer embargo. You could've told me…
I immediately set out to fill the gaps in the squad, but I realise caution is needed, as we are just below the salary cap. We move quicly to sign Herrestad's 17-year old goalie Jacob Flingmark, who I've been eying for more than a year. Next in is Elfsborgs disillusioned midfielder Johan Borèn. 19 year old Borèn is a hard-working midfielder with decent physical attributes who can play centrally or on the right. Stefan Grenholm is an experienced defender and midfielder who join us from first division Skövde. He's here to replace Gustav Svensson. Finally Serb defender Darko Matijevic signs on a free from Ljungskile. The 30-year old gives us an extra option on the right side.
IFK Malmö are sniffing around Mehmet, and if they can come up with a decent bid I might consider letting him go, even if he is one of our top three players. Meanwhile, Ali Ademi is given a free transfer, and veteran Lars Andersson decides not to extend his contract. Patrik Bengtsson has been making trouble for the last six months, and is finally shipped off to newly-promoted 2nd division side Franke on a free. A few weeks later I'm offered the managers job at Franke. I don't think so…
At last we get some youth players , and even a couple who might prove useful.
Friendlies were ok, 3-0 trashings by IFK Göteborg and Helsingborg were followed up with a couple of wins against lower league opponents and a creditable 0-0 draw with first division Värnamo. Our best players were of course Mehmet Mehmet, and surprisingly Matias Bengtsson. It's going to be a race for the second striker spot! Johan Richt had a remarkably poor pre-season, while the new signings were mediocre, Darko Matijevic the best of the lot.
I plan another top 5 finish, can't do more with what we've got, and the wage budget is strained again.

A quick update as I dont have the game open and the update I posted yesterday afternoon doesnt seem to be here (had a few IE problems that will explain it).
Lost out to Premier league opposition in the 2nd round of the cup. Score was only 2-1 though and we had over 1800 in attendance.
League campaign has started well, 7 wins out of 7  with marcus Bursk having scored in all but one game and with 10 goals in 9 games (league & cup).
All three of last seasons 16 year olds are still starting regularly and are already over half way to the 10 starts mark. Christian dahl is still starting even though he is probably only my 4th best striker. He has 1 goal but his finishing is up (to 6 ) but he wont sign a full-time contract .
Jacob Johansson has finally got his stats back to where I first scouted him. Getting lots of assists playing either down the right or through the middle of midfield. I though that we might miss Hardaga but that hasnt been the case at all.
Thommie Andersson is playing well at the back and holding his own with Dogan & Makumbu.
Only a quarter of the way thorugh the season but we are opening up a nice gap (5 points already) on 2nd place and hopes of promotion are starting to grow.
Still making month on month losses but they are now down to about 5 or 6k per month. The attendances have not yet improved dramatically and have risen from just below 600 to just above 600 so far this season (up from about 450-500 last season).
Still no sign of a parent club and as yet I dont want to think about giving money to a feeder club. Want to keep all my good players to myself although both the reserves & Under 18s teams are doing well in their leagues.

Well, to sum it up in one word: Annus Horribilus. Oh, that's two words.
It became obvious early in the season that we had been depending much more on the IFK loanees than I figured. The new signings failed to deliver the same level of play, and only Borèn could be said to have an impact. The new youths from the academy showed a lot of talent, and winger Dariusz Jezierski even managed 17 first team appearances, mainly due to a long term injury to talented Daniel Andersson. Also notable is striker Robin Andersson (another one!) who could be a decent target man when he grows up. The mainstays of the side were once again Richt and Mehmet, the two were behind most goals this year.
As for the league we were in the relegation fight all season, mainly due to an insane number of draws. It came down to the final game away to already relegated Jonsered. Four teams were involved, and it was near impossible to calculate all the possible outcomes, we could even win, and still face playoffs. We owned the game, but they were dangerous on the counter. It took us 75minutes to put the game beyond doubt through a Johan Borên brace, then followed a haunting fifteen minutes waiting for the remaining results. These actually went our way, and we could celebrate ninth place and the chance to fight another day.
We'll need to keep rebuilding next year. An experienced central defender and a decent striker to take some pressure off Richt would be nice, but we're still hovering around the wage limit, so if the board won't expand it, we're stuck with what we have.

Season 2 Roundup - Division 1 South CHAMPIONS
Yes, despite having not one but two mini dips in form (where we just couldnt win at all) we have managed to get two promotions in two seasons. You would think that this was an unusual occurance until you look at the winners of Division 1 North and see that they also were promoted from a Division 2 league last season. Player Stats
This seasons best player award has to go to Magnus Bursk who ended up a bit out of form and only managed 24 goals. 9 clean sheets from the keeper Antabi also cam ein quite handy. Mehmet Mehmet came in as the highest average rating and also contributed 6 goals and 6 assists mostly from the left wing. My 16 year olds Thommie Andersson - Uncomplicated defender, acquited himself well with two other experienced DCs fighting for just 2 places, I worry his lack of pace will soon become apparent. Christian Dahl - still managed a good collection of goals at this higher level. His finishing is now up to 7 , and as per last year, I fear for him being able to keep his place in the squad. Jacob Johansson - has done very well this season, top assists in the team playing at Right Midfield and would have played more but for injury. This one will survive another season but I have started to get some interest in him which I am trying to thwart with a valuation of 250k.
Looking to next season and I already have a new striker in Patrick Burda, a 17 year old with good pace as well as finishing. Tried to sign him in the first season but he wasnt having any of it.
Still making month on month losses and have just been informed that there is no money for transfers for next season. How I am meant to compete in League 1 Elite with no money I do not know. Hopefully the attendances will rise dramatically (ave 583 in the league) and the TV money will go up as well.
The clubs estimated value has risen to 60k which I expect to rise once we are officially in the next division.
I will update further as the new season approaches.

Hey,
Not had much time to play lately, and frankly I wasn't getting Varbergs anywhere either. I'm coming back to this game later, but for now it's on a break. Am fiddling a bit with a San Marino game, but nothing serious currently.

Hey all,
I'm still grafting away at this game every now and then, in between work and more work. Am in 2014 now(short seasons are cool), and have just been promoted to the 1st div. elite. Still in debt, but at least I'm able to attract some half-decent players. Club value have skyrocketed to a massive E140K. My designated youth player (Klas Sundqvist) left because we weren't able to supply his wage demands. He then proceeded to retire. Fair enough as he wasn't that good anyway. I replaced him with local hero Petter Envald, a hard-working midfielder very similar to Johan Borén. His first three seasons were nothing special, and he got only the necessary ten games, but then in 2013 he decided to flourish, and put up a 7.48 average, starting all but one game.
I might come back and do a more thorough write-up later, but as of now I prefer playing to writing |
