Finally after many mishaps (well 1 major mishap anyway) I have reached the halfway point of my first season.

The mishap, somehow I managed to overwrite my save game with one of my other savegames causing me to have to go to by backup which was from near the beginning od the season (taken after 3 league games). It total I think I lost 5 league games which from memory were 2 wins, a draw and 2 defeats.

Well I couldnt have learnt a great deal as I replayed those 5 games this time with 3 wins and 2 defeats (but to different teams ).

So after 10 games, I am somehow top, currently by 4 points but it appears to be my dubious honour to have reached 10 games without missing a fixture and so I get to sit back and watch everyone else so it could be a 1 point lead by the true halfway.

Our 10 games have seen 26 goals scored and just 10 conceded, winning 7 and losing just 2.

Fortunately the sequence appears different and I miss the penultimate set of fixtures and play the last week instead.

A brief analysis of my players:

GK - Joseph Antabi has played all 10 league games and conceded 10 goals, but still kept 5 clean sheets. Ave 6.7

DL - Jimmy Svensson (player/coach) joined just before the first league game and has contributed 2 goals (both free kicks) and 3 assists. Ave 7.6

DC - Thommmie Andersson - 16 year old - only started 3 games through injury but just came back and came on as sub in last game. Hopefully should reach 10 starts this season.

My main 4 midfielders (L to R) Mehmet Mehmet, Ali Adami, Alan Hardaga & Johan Winroth has between them contributed 11 assists and 7 goals and with one exception started all 10 games (1 game missed by Adami as he came back from a knock sustained in a game)

ST - Christian Dahl - 16 year old - What can I say, 10 goals in 10 games and 3 assists as well Already has his 10 starts for the season. Ave 7.7

ST - Gunay Adem has just gone down injured for about 2 weeks but in the first 9 games contributed 4 goals and 4 assists.

Just completed week 11 of fixtures and I have a 3 point cushion over the next 2 teams.

Jacob Johansson a RB & AMRC has joined on 1st July and hopefully can start the rest of the season to get his 10 starts. Hopefully will have 3 16 year olds qualify this season.

Average attendance of just under 400 isnt helping the finances all that much. Currently losing about 13k per month and currently are 17k in the red.

Thats a shame, I didnt post a screenie of the player I had such high hopes for when I first found him. Now he has joined (see above) and I cant understand why I wanted him. I can only presume that his stats have plummetted in the last few months.

There is obviously a lot of randomness, Johan Winroth and Gunay Adem are useless on my game, Ali Adami is rather poor as well. Christian Dahl was unfortunately injured most of the season, but he showed a lot of promise in the final youth games.

Can't sign anyone, the board vetoes every deal, even down to 70E/Week. I'll have to live on the good graces of IFK and their reserves the coming season and try to get the finances under control.

How on earth are you only 17K in the red?

And another question as well, why are we not in the cup?

In no particular order:

Cup - No idea, maybe its random from the Division 2 teams or only those that finished above a certain postion the previous season.

I dont have a parent club, board cound not find one

Lose 13k per month, just about on my wage budget. If your board is vetoing new signings are you over your wage budget?

Yeah, I'm about 1k over, so that's not so strange. I'm doing a bit of a clear-out of the fringe players, so I think I might get it under control pretty soon.

I checked the 1st round of the cup from 2006, and it had a numer of non-league teams, so I have no idea about that one. First round is end of march, I want in.

In the middle of match of the season here. Away from home against Larje/Angered (great name by the way).

Went a goal down before going 2-1 and then 2-2. Then 4-2 up by half time. Straight after the break it was 4-3 and then 5-3, on 80 minutes its 5-4. And it finished 5-4.

Both my DCs had a 5 but it wasnt as bad for the keepers (well mine anyway). They had 21 shots with 14 on target, we had 7 shots with 5 on target (and 5 goals ), there keeper appeared to be truely at fault with at least 2 of my goals appearing to go right through his fingers. (he got a 6 as well )

With 15 games gone we are 7 points clear and the teams with games in hand cant improve on the 7 points. We might just do this. :eek:

Having gone 7 points clear, we then beat the team in 2nd to move 10 points clear with 4 and 5 games remaining. If we won our next game only the teams in 4th & 5th could catch us and they had to win all of their remining games.

Well we won our next match (still 3 league games to go) and they both failed to win.

CHAMPIONS, we are going up I said we are going up.

That's a fantastic achievement. I don't think I can get promoted this second season either, with the transfer embargo in place. Oh, and I didn't get any youth players promoted either.
