Christian Dahl played four senior games for a 7.25 avg. He made one assist but scored none. Could've played more, but strikers are actually plentiful. Scouts seem to think he's the best player around. Scored 10 in 18 for the reserves and U18s
| Christian Dahl has played in all three of our league games so far (I took him out of the under 18s squad) and after coming up dry in the first game, bagged 2 in the second and a first half hattrick in the thiord (must get an injury now then )

Decided to start again. Reloaded and ready to go. No Tommy Acar this time The regens seems a tad poorer than first go. managed to get IFK Göteborg as parent again, and Bastian Andersson returns, yay! Nadj went to Landskrona this time, but we got Gustav Svensson instead. He should be fantastic as the anchorman. I think I need to look for a target man and a central defender, possibly also a goalkeeper.

Transfer deadline has passed and I almost managed to find what I was looking for:
Johan Richt comes in on a free from Rimforsa. The 28-year old could prove a decent target man for this level, at least he'll be good enough to cover for Bjärne, who will start.
Daniel Ung was released by Norrby and is a right sided full-back with excellent crossing skills and all-over decent defensive stuff. He might have to fill in at centre back. At 30 he's not one for the future though.
No goalkeeper.
I missed out on a possible fantastic loan-signing as Halmstad reserves winger Kristoffer Fagercrantz refused the move, even though my scouts claimed he'd like to join.
Oh, and the physios still s***

Rep Power: 0 | Preseason roundup:
Transfers in: Ung, Richt, Andersson Bastian, Svensson. (Why is half my team named Andersson?)
Transfers out: none
Finances: Going down the drain. I even got a 35K cash injection!
Friendly tour of the Faroe Islands:
B36-BoIS 3-1 (Hardaga)
B71-BoIS 4-3 (Richt 2, Bengtsson)
B68-BoIS 2-4 (Andersson T, Bengtsson, Richt)
BoIS-Varbergs GIF 3-5 (Hardaga, Mehmet, Richt)
Fairly nice results on the tour, and yes, I have a thing for teams with numbers for names. Richt seems to be a find, both loanees are looking good, and the unfortunately named Mehmet Mehmet seems to be on form. The game against local rivals GIF was horrible, and I think we may have a weak spot between the sticks. None of the three available goalies seem able to keep a clean sheet, and a new keeper is a priority in the transfer window.
Bjärne out for a month, but I think Richt is ahead of him anyway. Bengtsson will partner him from the start, but Dahl should get his chance. Midfield picks itself with Bastian A. and Mehmet on the wings and Svensson and Hardaga centre. Defense is a toss-up. None stand out either way so I think whoever is fittest on match day gets to play. Gustavsen starts in goal, mainly because the other two are only 16.

With everything else, I am plodding through this at about a couple of games a day
However, so far, so good. Winning more than we are losing and in the upper half of the table.
Brought in a couple of free transfers, one of whom is a Striker who in his first two games came off the bench to score, then got injured for a month.
Dahl now has 6 in 6 (thats 1 in last 3).
Figure I should surviv relegation but cannot see me getting top spot, the only was to be promoted out of this division.

I seem to find myself in a rare writing mood. Can't promise to keep these kinds of reports going, as I impersonate a responsible adult in real life. 2006 Half-season report:
Svensson out for up to a month with a back strain.
50-1 against for the opener against Kinna, what else is new? Kinna-BoIS 0-3 (Bengtsson 2, Sundqvist)
Richt MOM even if he missed all his five shots on goal. Started with Ung-Andersson-Ahlqvist-Sundqvist at the back but they were never under pressure. I won the opener 3-0 in the first attempt as well, but this team feels more together. Oh, and I believe Sundqvist is my nominated youth player
700K(euro) in the red.
Woohoo, only 30-1 against for Finlandia. Finlandia-BoIS 2-3 (Andersson B,Richt, Sundqvist)
Outstanding centre back Sundqvist scores with another header. He is so my designated player. We come back from one down twice to take three more points. We let in two set-pieces, and I still worry about the goalkeeping. Scouts are coming up with nothing but strikers, og which we have enough.
20-1 odds at home to Jonsered, we're moving up in the world! BoIS-Jonsered 1-2 (Andersson B)
Can't win'em all. An even game that could've tipped both ways. Once again I think a good goalie could've saved us a point. BoIS-Lägre/Angered 1-4 (Hardaga)
Joakim Dahlberg gets the chance in goal for this one. Gustavsen has been poor so far, and I'd rather have the youths getting the experience. Dahlberg proceeds to **** up after 25 minutes and from there on out L/A dominate the game. Nils Andersson is sent off on 67, but we still manage to equalise through Hardaga. L/A wakes up and scores three in 13 minutes.
Kristoffer Englen out for up to two weeks with a strained neck, just when he had a chance to play due to Nils Anderssons suspension. Daniel Nilsson is brought up from the U18s.
Mehmet out for three weeks with a broken elbow. Daniel Andersson fills in. As it looks now we'll start six players on youth contracts against Torslanda. Torslanda-BoIS 2-3 (Richt 2, Andersson B)
Torslanda comes into the game on a four-game winning streak, but it's gotta end sometime. We dominat the first half, and the defense leaves goalkeeper debutant Peter Dahlberg a rather bored spectator. Second half is a different matter though. Torslanda have obviously been given the blow-dryer treatment during half-time and come out obsessed. in six minutes it's two-all and looking bleak. We pull ourselves together though, and Mr. consistency Bastian Andersson score the winner 7 minutes from time. Only semi-ok from the second Dahlberg goalie, but he'll get another chance. BoIS-Oddevold 1-0 (Richt)
A game we dominated from start to finish, but they nearly nicked a point. Late sub Christoffer Bjärne came on late to head Peter Dahlbergs clearance into the path of Johan Richt who scored on 82 minutes. Daniel Nilsson then proceeded to miss a penalty. We don't need no stinkin' penalties! Skene-BoIS 1-0 (We didn't score for the first time this season!)
Still no-one believes in us, 50-1 again! Peter Dahlberg keeps us in the game, and may have alleviated my goalkeeping worries a bit. Johan Richt has a remarkably poor game, and is replaced by Bjärne after 70 mins. An unsung hero so far is 16-year old Tobias Andersson, filling in for the injured Svensson in the anchorman role. His stats are nothing special, but he tackles well, and pass the ball around with confidence. Svensson is back in training though, and will reclaim his place soon. BoIS-Floda 3-0 (Bengtsson 2, Richt)
Mehmet and Svensson are back and on the bench, and get on in the second half. Bengtsson finally repays my faith in him with a brace, and Richt is MOM again. The game was a lot more even than the result indicates. Floda had 55% posession and we only had 7 shots to their 5. Their manager throws a fit after the game, and if I'd been him, I would have too.
Daniel Ung out with a shin problem for a month. He wasn't impressing anyway, and Erik G. Thuresson gets an opportunity. BoIS-Gunnilse 6-4 (Sundqvist, Bengtsson, Mehmet, Richt, Hardaga 2)
Gunnilse are top of the league with only one defeat in 8 matches. It shows, as they take the lead after 2 minutes, and I fear a drubbing. We then go on to provide the best half of football since the season started, and lead 3-1 at half-time. Second half start with a Gunnilse storm, and they score three in five minutes to take the lead. I swap a struggling Ahlqvist for Tobias Andersson who enters midfield, with Svensson dropping back. This seems to help, as we close up shop and go on the attack. Richt and Hardaga wakes up and score three between them at the end, and we win! What a rollercoaster!
Svensson injured again! Another month out, this time with a back strain. Sandared-BoIS 2-3 (Andersson B, og, Richt)
So, Sandared are 10th, and we're only 30-1 for this game. Should have been easy, eh? Not quite. They outplay and outshoot us, but once again, our strikeforce save the day to hand us another three points, although somewhat undeserved. Adam Ahlqvist recuperates from a poor performance last week and is the clear MOM. Round-up:
Resultwise we're doing far above expectations and sit in 2nd place, yay! I worry about the finances, as we're more than 700K in the red, and it's not getting any better. None of our players are really worth anything, so there's currently no hope of any transfer fees. Two 35K cash injections aren't really helping, and an average attendance of 375 ain't all that. It seems we need promotion to get anywhere.
Of the preseason signings Richt is the outstanding name, and I believe he has single-handedly transformed this team from cannonfodder to top-half finishers. Bastian Andersson has again been consistently good on the right. I think he might be better centrally, but Alen Hardega owns that spot. Gustav Svensson spent more time with the so-called physios than on the field, but was decent when he played. I have high hopes for him. Daniel Ung is disappointing, and I don't think he'll win his place back when fit.
I'll be looking to sign a goalkeeper, even though Peter Dahlberg have done fairly well. Kristian Gustavsen is useless and may leave when his contract runs out. The other Dahlberg might turn out ok, but for now he's U18s only. Apart from that I'm fairly happy with my squad, but if an experienced centre half comes up for free, I'll be happy!

I'll be looking to sign a goalkeeper
| First player I signed was a GK called Joseph Antabi on a free. Kept 4 clean sheets in 6 league games so far.

Hmm, A scout report from late march seem to suggest he's not interested. Will try again

Peter Dahlberg out for a month, thankfully a new goalie is close to signing.
New signing! BoIS sign 24 year old GK Ola Olausson from 3rd division Hörviken. Olausson is a fairly decent keeper who will never be a star at any level, but he has a cool head and should do well enough for now. BoIS-Finlandia 2-2 (Hardaga 2)
We're only 15-1 against, that's the lowest we've ever been. Olaussen is thrown straight into action as Dahlberg 1 is injured. We dominate for once, and it seemed all wrapped up until Finlandia (ins't that vodka?) pulled one back on 80 minutes. That put som fire into them, and they got their equaliser 5.20 into extra time *grr*. Decent debut for Olaussen, even if he didn't manage a clean sheet. Richt was tired after the game and I might give him a weeks rest.
We would have gone top of the table if we'd beaten Finlandia! Jonsered-BoIS 2-1 (Andersson T)
Only 10-1 odds, and away at that! Richt recuperated fairly well, and we have a two-week break after the next game, so he stays in, but is carried off after 37 minutes. Maybe he should've rested anyway? Bastian Andersson has a poor game after his standards and is subbed for the first time ever.
Richt is out for up to two months, which is practically the season. The bubble might burst now. We have 22 points, which is one more than would've saved us in my first go, so we should stay up pretty easily. New signing! 22-year old full back Raqi Yaqueb signs on a free. He was released by Syrianska in march, but my numbskull scouts didn't find him until now. We beat off interest from a number of 2nd division clubs including Finlandia and Lärje to win his signature. The lightning fast defender with a Syrian passport will probably go straight into the side. Bois-Kinna 0-0
Ahlqvist is suspended after his booking against Jonsered, veteran Lars Andersson takes his place, while new boy Yaqueb is on the bench pending match fitness. Bjärne replaces Richt. We trashed Kinna at their place in the opener, but that counts for nothing tonight. We dominate the game from start to finish, but Bjärne ain't Richt, and we have a rare scoreless draw. Yaqueb gets 20 minutes for Thuresson but is anonymous. BoIS-Torslanda 0-3
Torslanda is very much an on-off team this season, and we beat them away but they're still comfortable favourites. Ahlqvist returns from suspension, and Yaqueb replace Thuresson at right back. Svensson is back in training, but not deemed fit enough for the bench. Ahlqvist returns to his antics and gives away a penalty. He's rewarded with another booking as well. Torslanda are on tonight, and without a proper strike force we don't seem to hack it. Lärje/Angered-BoIS 2-1 (Svensson)
The errant Ahlqvist is left out, and a struggling Bjärne is relegated to the bench, giving Erik T. Thuresson a chance to prove my scouts right. The clock says 01:48 when L/A score their first and from then on out we're second best. Gustav Svensson scores his first BoIS goal from a corner kick. but it's in vain.
Alen Hardaga is out for 3-4 weeks with a back strain. This triggers a little shuffling in midfield as Bastian Andersson takes Hardagas central place, Mehmet move right, and Daniel Andersson comes in on the left. Oddevold-BoIS 1-2 (Thuresson ET, Bjärne)
What to do for a strike force? It's obvious that without Richt we're toothless, however many strikers we have. Bjärne obviously ain't as good a target man, but no-one else looks like one either. He starts this game with Thuresson, as Bengtsson is having a dry-spell, and I hope a bit of rest might put him back on track. Fit-again Peter Dahlberg wears the gloves, as Olaussen have been disappointing. First half is a bit strange, aas Oddevold hold on to the ball, while we shoot at any opportunity. In the second half, Bjärne finally score, and we win our first in four. Bastian Andersson shine in his new central midfield role, abd Hardega might have a challenge on his hands.
Finlandia clinch relelgation with three games to go. No wins and only three draws(one of which was against us...) in seventeen games ain't all that!
Richt resumes training, but is some way off match fitness.
Unbelieveable! Gustav Svensson is out for a month again! This time with a twisted ankle.
I sign a new rolling one-year contract on 150 Euro/week, same as before. The finances remain dire, so this is no surprise. BoIS-Skene 1-1 (Thuresson ET)
Skene beat us first time around, lie second in the league and are on a five march unbeaten run, so the return of the 50-1 odds is actually not very surprising. The first half is uneventful, with a slight BoIS dominance, but after Thuresson score just after the break, Skene throw everything forward, and they're rewarded three minutes into overtime when a limping Klas Sundquist fails to pick up left-wing cross into the area, and their striker is gifted a free shot.
Transfer deadline wrap-up:
In: Ola Olausson (Hörnviken), Raqi Yaqueb (Free)
Out: None
None of the new signings have set hearts on fire yet. Olausson is actually disappointing, and Dahlberg looks miles better. Yaqueb has only just reached match fitness, and I still expect something from him.
I was looking for (yet) another goalie, and possibly a striker on loan, but nothing came of it. The scouts seem to love tagging players with "may favour a loan move" even if the player in question wouldn't dream of signing. Gunnilse-BoIS 1-0
Gunnilse are six points clear at the top. Thuresson is unfit, and Bengtsson takes his place up front. A Bjärne/Bengtsson strike force doesn't scare many (apart from me) and when Bengtsson is carried off on 26 to be replaced by 16-year old Peter Lennartsson, it doesn't look much better. Tobbe Andersson is sent of after 65, and Klas Sundqvist follow him on 78. We hold on until 84 when makeshift centre back Yaqueb can't win a header, and 176cm Emil Nilsson score. S***.
Gunnilse win the league.
Bengtsson have a broken leg and will be out 4-7 months. With our physios treating him, I'd say 10-12 months…
Olausson out for 1-2 months. Doesn't matter. BoIS-Sandared 3-3 (Andersson L, Backlund 2)
Everything is academic now, as both promotion and relegation is settled, so I'll use the last two games to experiment a bit. The loanees are left out as I want to let our own players get some experience. Patrik Bengtsson gets his first start as Tobbe Anderssons replacement in centre midfield, and youngster Peter Lennartson starts up front. Also in other news Johan Richt returns from injury to claim his place. Bjärne is on the bench. The Backlund effect is obvious, as we score three for the first time in ages. Unfortunately the defensive reshuffling also cost us three. Backlund and Lars A. both score their first goals for the club.
Rabi Yaqueb misses the final game due to a twisted knee in the Sandared game.
Daniel Backlund is out for two weeks , and will also miss a certain start in the last match. Floda-BoIS 0-2 (Andersson D, Bjärne)
Mehmet is suspended, and a rash of injuries means the team picks itself for the final game. We're fifth in the league and can move one up or one down, so no big matter for us. We line up Dahlberg-Thuresson EG-Andersson N-Ahlqvist-Sundqvist-Andersson B-Andersson D-Hardaga-Andersson T-Lennartson-Richt Bench: Gustavsson-Andersson L-Kux-Bjärne-Karlsson. I need more Anderssons! Floda dominated the first half, but we scored. Johan Richt was carried off on 42, and I'm sure the physios managed to worsen his injury. Bjärne replaced him, and scored with his first touch, so there! In the second half, Peter Dahlberg decides to convince me he's the real thing, and even though Floda have 24 shots on goal, they don't score.
We finish fifth, well above expectations.
Richt is out for a month, but who cares now?
Our parents at IFK won the league.
Wrap-up in a separate post.

Rep Power: 0 | 2006 End of season wrap-up:
So, a much improved attempt this time around. it's obvious that the sun revolves around Johan Richt. When he's out we're impotent. It's also evident that Peter Dahlberg gives us more than any of the other keepers. We have a young squad that should improve, but I think a couple of signings must be made before next year. I would like a proper captain, as any potential captains in this side are fringe players, or too young for me to be comfortable. Preferably he would be an experienced centre-back. There's also an obvious need for a cover target man. Bjärne might like to think he's good enough, but I don't think 2 goals and 2 assists from 12 games is all that great. The surprise package of the season might be young midfielder Tobias Andersson, who took the place intended for Gustav Svensson and made it near impossible to not pick him. 18 starts, one goal and three assists, with an avg rating of 7.11 is most satisfying. My designated youth player was Klas Sundqvist, who managed 19 starts and three goals for an avg of 7.05. He's our best defender so far.
I can't say I'm too happy with the transfers in (with the obvious exception of Richt!) Bastian Andersson have done well on the right, but Gustav Svensson only managed three starts due to numerous injuries. Ola Olausson is a miss, and it seems that Daniel Ung is as well. Rabi Yaqueb started poorly, but lifted himself to a decent level at the end. He might yet come good.
Financially we're scr*w*d. Still 700K+ in the red, and we're running at a 1k profit only due to 105K board cash injections. Mehmet and Yaqueb are our most valuable players, both commanding a hefty 1K potential fee. Oh, and we're still the poorest club in Scandinavia, even if our net worth is up to 5K.
My total disregard for the salary limitations have put us 600 over, and the board are now seeing fit to cancel transfers AFTER they've accepted the salary levels. I've never seen this before, first they restrict me to 70E/week, and when the player accepts this, they cancel the deal anyway. Daft.
Now for the fun part. I despise imageshack, and I despise this editor:
