i thought i mention in the test game they (varbergs) got relegated in the second season

2. With 46 days to the first league game (started March 06) I plan to bring in a scout with potential ability as high as I can and scour Sweden for the next superstar.

Annoyingly, there do not appear to be any under 17 players that are not attached to clubs at the opening of the challenge. This means that any player you want to bring in has to come from another club.

More annoyingly, all of the these players appear to have transferred on 1/7/05 making them ineligable to transfer before 1/7/06 at which point there are only 10 league games remaining in the season.

I have bagged a midfielder who I hope will be good enough to play as we (hopefully) move up the ladder, but he doesnt join until 1st July so I have to hope that when he arrives he is fit and that he stays fit.

In the meantime I will have to play one of my own under 17s just in case

Does the 10 starts only apply to league games, or do cup and playoff games count as well. Might have to get myself into the end of season playoffs (relegation or hopefully promotion) to secure the 10 starts.

Have passed the transfer deadline and apart from the loanee that started with the club (argualbly the clubs best player but sadly well over 17), could not get anyone to sign on loan. Partly my fault as I missed the one week togo to deadline message and tried to sign several players on deadline day but they all refused.

Played 1 friendly last night against a team tipped for 3rd in their 2nd division division (if you know what I mean) and held them to a 1-1 draw with the DC I screenied earlier getting a 7. Looks like he could be a regualr started this season anyway and then I hope to get my new signing in for the last 10 league games so that I have 2 eligable players going forward

The player I signed if a freebie with a sell on clause. Varboigs doesnt appear to be as easy to get players to sign for as Harrow Borough
