Post 'em up and let Attjen sort 'em out.

Name: Ryan Andrews
Position: MR/L/C
Nationality: Canada
Backgroud: Andrews was discovered later than most soccer players considering his location deep in the Canadian wilderness, and he didn't have a ball or a net to practice with. He had to make due with a moose skin and a bloated beaver as equipment. However, fate smiled upon him, as a plane carrying Bob Bradley crashed not far from the cabin he called home. Once Bradley saw what Andrews could do with the primal equipment he had, he brought him to New York, to ply his trade for the local team. He couldn't take the bright lights of the Big Apple for long, and left the club, travelling through Europe. He bounced around playing for teams like SV Mattersburg, Aarhus GF and Iraklion, before hearing about the Qatari offer. He quickly boarded a plane for Doha, and hoped he would be accepted because at least then he might have a chance at tasting international glory (because, lets face it, Canada is going nowhere in soccer).
Strong Attributesribbling, Penalty Taking, Long Shots, Passing, Pace
Weak Attributes: Technique

Well, a few people have posted so i will also .

Name: Costa del Birdinha "Birdinha"
Position: DR/L
Nationality: Chilean
Background: A former member of the Hitler Youth, Birdinha joined Colo Colo as a 14 year-old prodigy. He was the youngest player ever to play a competitive match in the Chilean top league at just 15 years and 12 days old. He was the greatest defender of his age and was highly sought after by Premiership teams. Chelsea offered Birdinha a contract of £37,500 a week, this would have made him the highest payed youth player in the history of football, but he declined, saying that he would never move to Chelsea. In that year where he took Colo Colo to their league victory in an outstanding season, helped by his amazing keeper, Alexandre Drewana, he was the highest rated defender of the year, and was the highest scoring defender in the Primera L*nea fantasy football league. Birdinha was getting more and more publicity, and many feared it was bad for him at such a young age to be exposed to all this, but he shone through and turned down an offer from Man Utd before he recieved an offer from, which he accepted greatly. He felt that it was time for him to travel the globe. Him and his partner bought a house in Qatar and planned to move there in the summer. After hearing this, Chelsea's chairman Roman Abramovic was shocked at Birdinha's decision to reject Chelsea and instead move to Qatar. Later that week, Birdinha was viciously attacked in the streets by an anonymous attacker and was rushed to the Chilean central hospital. Birdinha had suffered severe stab wounds on his arm and chest. His right lung was punctured and a tendon in his arm was snapped. Birdinha was put in a cast for 6 weeks and his big-money-move to Qatar was in tatters until the doctor announced that "Costa del Birdinha has been making great progress, i am delighted to inform you (his family) that his cast will be removed on Tuesday of next week. Birdinha was overjoyed! All the trauma of the past few weeks was over and he could finally concentrate on getting his football career back on track.

Strong Attributes: Tackling, Passing, Pace, Marking
Weak Attributes: Penalty Taking

Kraitoth is infamous around these parts
Default

Name: Kraitoth Jaques
Position DR/L/C
Nationality: English/Swiss
Background: The half-Swiss, half-English defender began his football career playing in England at his orphanage. He was the best defender there, almost no-one got past him, and if they did they weren't there for long. A scout picked him out from the rest of the team due to his fast runs and aggresive play. Really aggresive. Jaques makes runs from his own goal and if anyone tackles him they went down, hard. Shortly after joining his local team Jaques recieved his first appearance... and his first yellow card, followed shortly by a second. Jaques went home in disgrace, only to come back a few weeks later and try again. This time was a little better. After a season in the first team, Jaques set up the winning 90th minute goal, in a cup tie, with a run from 3 yards out. During the victory celebration, after the game, Jaques was attacked by the opposing striker and replied in kind. The guy was in a coma for a year and never played again. Jaques was kicked from the team before he got a chance to be picked for England. Lucky for Jaques two scouts from Quatar were watching and apprached him with a large briefacase of cash...

Strong Attributes: Tackling, pace, crossing, marking.
Weak attributes: temperament, corners.

We're onto #2. (If Howells comes back, he'd go in at the bottom of the list.)

If you've already posted a choice of player, that's okay, but you're not guaranteed to get that player until your time in the order comes up. Posting a 'pre-draft' choice is okay, because when your time comes up, you might have a good chance of getting it.

Again, #2 on the list has 24 hours to get his choice up. As soon as he does, the next person can go. If he doesn't get a choice up in the next 24, the next person can go ahead.

As long as people are actually paying attention, this can go quickly.

By my reckonings the people highlighted have already created their profiles if it gets to them! Ultimately this means all the places are filed bar one. Which means that i can create a profile if all 7 people ahead of me miss the deadline.....great
Guess i'll have to look for another signup to join instead (he says gruffly as he walks off hands in pockets weeping to himself )

Name: Maxi Petrov
Position DR
Nationality: Bulgarian/Argentinian
Background: The Bulgarian defender started his career in the small club Belite Orli(The White Eagles)in his birth town Pleven. However deemed surplus to requirements he moved to the amateur team of Batsova Mahala. With no regular training his pure talant was merely forgotten until one day he played in front of the eyes of a strange person of Arabian origin. The man turned out to be a salesman whose brother was a football scout in Qatar. After one telephone call the Qatari scout landed at the Sofia International Airport and met with Maxi in a nearby hotel. The scout only needed few minutes looking at a video of the youngster to make up his mind and offer him a contract that changed his life forever...
