We have roughly 9 'first team' players in Qatar right now. (As in, forum members still following the progress of the story.)

That leaves the following available 'primary' positions for the Qatar national team:

ST - Likely first team choice
DR - likely first team choice
GK - likely 2nd option keeper/substitute
ST - likely 2nd option/substitute
DM/FC - rotation/substitute
DR/L - rotation/substitute
ML/R/C - rotation/substitute
DL/R/C - rotation/substitute
DC - rotation

People who posted on this thread can choose one of these player/positions in the following order:

Each person on the list has 24 hours to select a player. If they fail to select, the next person in order can go. (So, for example, howells has 24 hours to select a player from the time I post this... if he doesn't, kasorazbiva4 can choose.) As soon as one player chooses, the next can go ahead.

When you choose a player I need the following:

'Original' Nationality of your player: (non-Qatari, unless you want to be native-born. generally should be a 'pretty-good' national team.)

Background info: some personal details about your player (to make the story more interesting)

Nickname: (if you have one in mind)

Strong attributes: Pick 4 visible in CM 01/02
Weak attribute: Pick 1 visible in CM 01/02

(Look at the screenshots I've posted in the story, if you can't remember 01/02)

Once you've done that I'll find a suitable player in the database, edit to your specifications, and then post screenshots.

(Any players added by this thread will appear in the story after the World Cup updates have been posted.)

Background:Worked as a camel herder and in his spare time honed his skills with a dried piece of camel poo before an ex-semi pro saw him 'playing with poo' whilst on holiday and gave him a football and told him to train with a qatari pub side and from then on his football career just skyrocketed.

Strong attribute:Finishing, Heading, Composure, Pace.
Weak attribute: Marking or corners
